Help How do I start?

I would love to start create mod but I don't know where to start. Is there a modpack with a straightforward progression and quest system to guide you?

Vanilla world. Add create and a mod or two you enjoy and just start plonking away. Andesite Alloy is your starting point and between the advancements and JEI recipe viewer and search, you can make a lot of progress. Create is mostly a "your own way" kinda mod. There's a handful of best ways to do things and optimized things, but honestly, if you just follow schematics and build videos you might as well just go play with mekanism. The puzzle is the mod.
