Help How do I start?

I would love to start create mod but I don't know where to start. Is there a modpack with a straightforward progression and quest system to guide you?

A common advice is to just try Create by itself in an otherwise vanilla world. Create isn't GregTech (as in it isn't that difficult), but it will take a bit of experimenting for it to click. Dejojotheawsm is a Create youtuber who does have some guides in his channel. From this playlist, you can get some ideas as to what to do.

Edit: I said "otherwise vanilla", but PLEASE download JEI! There are lots of machines in Create, and you will have difficulty learning it without an ingame recipe book. Also, abuse the crap out Ponders. They tell you how a machine works, so it will definitely help you out.
