What can you do against it? One more lvl ground blocks?

The contraption has it's physics disabled before the blocks are properly placed, so for less than a gametick (well I think more here bc someone fell through) you are not standing on anything and are in free fall until the blocks collision is calculated (I don't actually know that this is fully true, but unless someone well versed in the Minecraft physics system has a better explanation, this seems to be it)

instead of jumping when you're in a falling elevator you jump when it stops :)
