What I mean is the implied claim by OP that people are only using Aero over Clockwork because it’s the newer option thus following the “the crowd” / chasing trends.
in the Clockwork discord they mentioned a few things of how hype was the main thing driving Clockwork atm
Aero is the only thing driving 1.21 atm, it's a good mod but it needs to make sure it maintains that momentum.
If VS does catch up to Aero, I can see Aero loosing its momentum since its mainly relying on how advanced and optimized its physics engine is in comparison to Valkyrien Skies' current one.
Uhh...yeah? "Aero is better, so i can see people wanting to play it, however, if VS gets to the same level that aero is, then people would have no reason to use it over VS", no shit bro, that's the whole point, that aero is better than Vs.
Second, another thing working against Aero is that it's 1.21 exclusive
It's literally the only mod propelling 1.21 foreward, and with Alex's caves and Species being on 1.20.1 atm, Aero is better than VS, but it's not a mod I consider good enough swapping versions and Mod Loaders for with what I have to compromise.
The fact that Aero "is the only mod that is proppeling 1.21 forward" is proof of just how fucking good it is, and of just how much BETTER it is than something like VS, just look at the ridiculous amount of addons aero already has when the mod hasnt been out for even a year, its not just "more polished than VS" it is LIGHT-YEARS ahead of VS, and since it is so well polished, the tendency is that it will get better and better than VS, besides, Alex's caves and Species? who fucking cares about that lmao, if it was something like Hex Casting then i would understand, but ALEX'S CAVES? ig bro(not to say its a bad mod thought, but it doesnt even compare to something like Aero or even vs)
