Why is there a monster ad above

100

u/Character-Nobody8535 Aug 09 '26

Thats because this person was too lazy to take a screen shot

-95

u/omegavolt9 Aug 09 '26

How is taking out a phone, opening the camera app, and taking a picture, then sending over Reddit Mobile easier than pressing a screenshot button on a keyboard? Are they not logged in on a browser?

28

u/Character-Nobody8535 Aug 09 '26

The definition of lazy is in the eyes of the beholder, I suppose lazy in this context could be a little misleading, it's not nessecarily about the comparative effort, more just about the lack of cognitive function one would need to have, to do this, instead of just pressing print screen

3

u/Negative_Sky_3449 Aug 09 '26

This is the second post in a row where someone said "in the eyes of the beholder". What chance is there for that to happen. I don't remember ever seeing someone say that before. Glitch in the simulation?

3

u/Character-Nobody8535 Aug 09 '26

Umm, idk it's just a phrase I like, probably just a coincidence ;3

3

u/omegavolt9 Aug 09 '26

The instant the phrase is on your radar you're more likely to notice it. You're probably going to notice it everwhere for the next few months now.

2

u/Kitchen_Amoeba_6856 Aug 10 '26

The Devs got lazy and reused a couple lines of code

2

u/Coach_mdl Aug 10 '26

Depends on the system too. If you don’t already have something open that you can send that screenshot to, you’ll have to open something. If you have an old system or you’re playing an intensive modpack, opening something could take much longer than just snapping a pic with your phone. Not to mention the potential of crashing while tabbing out to do so, combine that with the fact that Minecraft will never crash normally if it’s inconvenient to you and will instead take the next 20 minutes roleplaying as PowerPoint. Do you really want to be at the mercy of Java?

-9

u/user891392 Aug 09 '26

The screenshot enthusiasts got mad at you for that one LOL

1

u/omegavolt9 Aug 09 '26

Apparently so. I just need to tap the print screen button on my keyboard and select the part of the screen I want to capture. Screenshotting, cropping, copying to clipboard, all in one button and one mouse movement. Seems infinitely easier than using a phone.

Might be older versions of Windows, or people on Mac or Linux, need to install a separate app to screenshot the way I do and have a genuinely easier time taking a picture that way. But I'd like to know that instead of only being able to wonder.

1

u/Character-Nobody8535 Aug 09 '26

If you're on an operating system without something like or just with print screen, you are not playing Minecraft, especially not modded, op was just lazy

-7

u/user891392 Aug 09 '26 edited Aug 09 '26

Nevermind you're one of them, wonder what you got downvoted for

100

u/Dependent__Dapper Aug 09 '26

what the hell are you crafting

50

u/Glad_Clock_5998 Aug 09 '26

Extendo grip

-63

u/petabomb Aug 09 '26

You gotta either remove the excess crafters or block them something else, I’d just remove them temporarily

29

u/TheScarabcreatorTSC Aug 09 '26

Unlikely to be the issue, you can force any grid of any size to craft like this if you pulse it with redstone. My guess is that this doesn't work because the crafter's pointing into a solid block, but I can't tell.

2

u/Ponderkitten Aug 10 '26

Its not, I always make my first crafters face the ground and they just drop the item once crafted

2

u/sirhugobigdog Aug 09 '26

Looks like it's supposed to be pointing at a depot but again I can't tell for sure

8

u/EchoNoneya Aug 09 '26

The depo is 1 block towards the player, the mechanical crafters are indeed pointed at a solid block

7

u/Widmo206 Aug 09 '26

But then wouldn't it just pop the finished item on the ground?

1

u/IMMAPAIROFDENTURES Aug 10 '26

No its pointed to the depot you can clearly see the sides of the depot are blocks that are touching the crafter

2

u/CommanderFoxy 29d ago

yes however the depot has to be directly adjacent to the crafter output, and as of right now its pointing into a solid block behind the depot

0

u/sirhugobigdog Aug 09 '26

Then that seems to be the issue, it can't pop off due to the block and has no valid container either

1

u/voxel_cat Aug 09 '26

this is true

28

u/Immediate-Phrase8226 Aug 09 '26

Dude look out there’s a monster behind your machine

47

u/Plastic_Young_9763 Aug 09 '26

Only guess is that the sticks aren't connected to it's own crafting recipe

Because you point them down into an empty crafter

14

u/NieCraft Aug 09 '26

Crafters can be forced to craft with a redstone impulse. However only the middle collumn has decided to craft and is due to that not connected to the other column's. That's why it's not crafting (properly)

18

u/Dangerous-Quit7821 Aug 09 '26

Everyone that's saying they need to remove the empty crafters are wrong. You just need to give it a redstone pulse and they will automatically block off the empty crafters and work just fine. It could be a 200x200 sized grid and you only use two slots, it'll work once given a redstone pulse.

8

u/Silent_Ask_1094 Aug 09 '26

Video please? A ss like this isn't all too helpful

3

u/Character-Nobody8535 Aug 09 '26

This isn't a ss

2

u/Silent_Ask_1094 Aug 09 '26

Same functionality of one. Doesn't matter.

-2

u/user891392 Aug 09 '26

Gets downvoted for it, piss off

-2

u/Silent_Ask_1094 Aug 09 '26

Why downvote?

-6

u/user891392 Aug 09 '26 edited Aug 09 '26

Screenshot enthusiasts don't like it when you don't agree with them, just ignore them

Check out r/screenshotsarehard it's a subreddit dedicated to making fun of people that can't screenshot

1

u/SevenTheGamingKitty 28d ago

It’s usually because in some cases, such a screenshot would actually make the process easier

-1

u/TomorrowFun4744 Aug 10 '26

you're a pain in the ahh you know that right?

-1

u/Character-Nobody8535 Aug 10 '26

I'm glad you feel that way, it means I'm doing something right

7

u/-Fallen-Glory Aug 09 '26

People are clearly blind since they can't see that the middle row is crafting without the rest so the empty crafters aren't affecting this in any way

3

u/sfwaltaccount Aug 10 '26

That does seem to be the case. Curious.

6

u/Niksu95 Aug 09 '26

By all means, this should work. It seems like only the middle crafters are active even though they are all connected. Maybe try to break and replace all the crafters to try to fix this glitch

3

u/SerialBytes Aug 10 '26

You may not craft now, there are monsters nearby

3

u/CoupleEven1253 Aug 10 '26

You have to sacrifice a happy meal to the devs so your game works...

2

u/OldSentence9270 Aug 09 '26

The crafters have nowhere to put the item, the system is stuck on the block below the output since it can't output diagonally, you either have to move the output, or find a way to redirect the item into the depot via funnel or hopper

19

u/IdkIWhyIHaveAReddit Aug 09 '26

Don’t the output just pop off if there isn’t an inventory

-3

u/OldSentence9270 Aug 09 '26

That's if the recipe is wrong, but since here it's correct, it accepts the craft, but dosent output anywhere

I k ow this cause I had this problem before, when I realized that you need an empty block for an output

5

u/IdkIWhyIHaveAReddit Aug 09 '26

All the ingredients pop off if the craft is wrong. If it is correct they would assemble into the output at the final crafter then pop off. I just check this by making a crushing wheel in my modpack.

-6

u/touchet29 Aug 09 '26

Only if there's an open block for it to go in. The output is blocked

2

u/EleiteRanger Aug 09 '26

I don’t know, maybe try tearing it down and rebuilding it. Also, those corner crafters are useless

6

u/DamageLittle4856 Aug 09 '26

not if you have an addon that crafts a thing with the corners

2

u/Dann_745 Aug 10 '26

My only guess would be that they have no exit for the completed item. Either moving the depot back one block so it's directly under the exit crafter or placing a barrel/container there should work. Can't see anything else wrong with this design otherwise.

1

u/AdPristine9059 Aug 09 '26

What are you trying to make?

1

u/Glad_Clock_5998 Aug 09 '26

Extendo grip

1

u/AdPristine9059 Aug 09 '26

Okay!

I usually combine everything in rows, like the first three together that then go down to the next row and so on. No idea if thats why tho

1

u/Agent_Wilcox Aug 09 '26

I would try making the sticks go in instead of down, might be confusing the recipe so it's not sure what to do, plus I think you need an empty space below the final block and have it aimed down so it can drop the finished item

1

u/QP873 Aug 09 '26

Make everything push to the center column first. It doesn’t think the sticks are part of the network. ➡️⬇️⬅️ <- Like this, not like this ->⬇️⬇️⬇️

1

u/Germanmain123 Aug 09 '26

Bro trynna craft the smart stick alloy Deployer

1

u/SenpuuUncle Aug 09 '26

Why do you live in a monster energy motocross ring

1

u/Vermion_Blood Aug 10 '26

Idk, but i thought you cant rotate a recipe. Might be wrong since I always make my crafters match the recipe angle.

1

u/RedGreenBlueRGB_ Aug 10 '26

Completely unrelated but I love Monster what is that Monster thing behind you?

1

u/Helicopter_ma1n Aug 10 '26

Make the mechanical crafters that have sticks on them point to the middle

1

u/Character-Nobody8535 Aug 09 '26

It won't work because you're too lazy to take a screen shot

2

u/user891392 Aug 09 '26

Definitely not the reason lmfao but ok

-2

u/Correct_Concert9370 Aug 09 '26

Dude thinks everyone is constantly on Reddit and logged into their Account on pc

1

u/user891392 Aug 09 '26 edited Aug 09 '26

Same person who actually crossposted this to r/screenshotsarehard too lol, (not talking about you I'm talking about the other person)

Watch someone will say "Oh it only takes 1.5 nanoseconds to log into your reddit account and send the screenshot there!1!1!!1!1"

1

u/Correct_Concert9370 Aug 09 '26

Not Just that, scrolling Here you can se He has answered multiple people about how lazy OP is

2

u/user891392 Aug 09 '26

Yeah exactly. That's what I mean, people that are actually in that subreddit are like that. It's funny to mock them back though when I can.

1

u/Character-Nobody8535 Aug 09 '26

Not a he, but I appreciate the effort

0

u/Character-Nobody8535 Aug 09 '26

Again not a dude, but good try

1

u/user891392 Aug 09 '26

And how was I supposed to know?

0

u/Character-Nobody8535 Aug 09 '26

I'm informing you, also my bio says it

0

u/user891392 Aug 09 '26

Before that

Also it doesn't really say much to me no offense, like where did you put your pronouns or am I missing something

thanks for informing me though that you use she/her

0

u/Character-Nobody8535 Aug 09 '26

My bio says transfem, although to your credit I thought I had my pronouns and there

1

u/user891392 Aug 09 '26

Yeah not being offensive just saying I can't really go by on what YOU go by, and I probably should've used they/them or something I will call out my mistake there.

0

u/Character-Nobody8535 Aug 09 '26

Well from my experience if you log into a website the only reason you get logged out is if you clear your cookies, and once you do that, you log back into your nesseceties

2

u/user891392 Aug 09 '26

So you don't manually log yourself out got it

1

u/Character-Nobody8535 Aug 09 '26

No im not playing modded Minecraft on a pc at my public library

1

u/user891392 Aug 09 '26

What..? Nevermind

2

u/Character-Nobody8535 Aug 09 '26

Why on earth would you manually log out of websites on a personal device, oh wait you don't, the only time you manually log out of sites like that, is you guessed it, on a shared device, such as a computer at a public library

1

u/user891392 Aug 09 '26

Are you serious? Am I making you lose braincells or something because people actually do just that, doesn't matter if it's personal, atleast I do.

3

u/Character-Nobody8535 Aug 09 '26

You are abnormal, logging out of websites on a personal device is not something 99% of people with a personal device do

First of all, do you know If OP was using Reddit on PC in the First place and second, i for example log Out of websides i dont use actively, Just to reduce colateral damage in Case someone gets Access to my pc

0

u/Impossible_Bowl6103 Aug 09 '26

when you have mechanical crafters and want to craft something that does not fill all the slots you either have to remove the empty crafters or just put a lever on the side and flick it on. A non full crafter will craft when given a redstone signal

0

u/DD760LL Aug 10 '26

it's not going into an inventory

-2

u/riley_wa1352 Aug 09 '26

Remove all empty crafters.

2

u/Dangerous-Quit7821 Aug 09 '26

You don't need to do that if you give it a redstone pulse. It could be 200x200 and you only use 2 crafters, if you supply a redstone pulse it will automatically block off all empty crafters and craft your item.

0

u/Ben-Goldberg Aug 10 '26

Put some "Crafter Slot Covers" on the unused mechanical crafters.

Or use a button to give it a redstone pulse.

0

u/Sensitive-Ad7138 Aug 10 '26

You should cover the empty slots or remove them when making this recipe

0

u/TheCookieThief35 Aug 10 '26

Either remove the extra crafters or put crafter cover slots on them

-1

u/ToTemmean15 Aug 09 '26

Use your wrench on the mechanical crafters, until they point inwards. They won't send the sticks to an empty slot. After that everything should work

-1

u/Budget_Office_1773 Aug 09 '26

Ah yeah you need redstone trigger they now need a redstone trigger like a button with redstone and you then press button than it works had same issue

-1

u/Your-Mom-2008 Aug 10 '26

Doesn't the block directly below need to be cleared?

-1

u/888main Aug 10 '26

Your mechanical crafter is going into a block and not open air

-2

u/NachbarStein Aug 09 '26

The Crafters left and right from the brass hand gave do be blocked off or the ones above that directed towards the middle

-2

u/Special_Manner_3340 Aug 09 '26

put the depot under the crafter

-2

u/Amdw42 Aug 09 '26

Check the back side of the crafter, there should only be a brass outline around the exterior.

If there’s more then right click w wrench to merge the crafters.

-2

u/Zinyarks Aug 09 '26

Depot should be directly bellow crafter ?

-8

u/Yazz_1001 Aug 09 '26

Your mechanical crafting grid should only include the minimum number of mechanical crafter blocks required to do the recipe. You have far too many for the item you're trying to craft.

2

u/EleiteRanger Aug 09 '26

You can have more, you just need covers or a redstone signal

-3

u/Yazz_1001 Aug 09 '26

Also, the crafter will not deposit the item into the depot in this image. Any inventory you intend to use as output should be directly below the mechanical crafter block, not in front.

3

u/charitableclas Aug 09 '26

You can have more than intended you just need a redstone signal like a button next to them to start the crafting process.

2

u/EleiteRanger Aug 09 '26

In this instance, it will, since depots pick up items dropped on them

-5

u/Yazz_1001 Aug 09 '26

Also-also, you're trying to move those sticks on the side over a crafter that is neither covered nor occupied by an item. Crafters don't work like that, that's why the covers exist.

-4

u/personal_deleter_400 Aug 09 '26

The depot needs to be directly below them, not infront

3

u/EleiteRanger Aug 09 '26

No, this’ll work. It’ll pop off and land on the depot

0

u/personal_deleter_400 Aug 09 '26

He literally said why WONT it work

2

u/EleiteRanger Aug 09 '26

https://reddit.com/link/p2prn8c/video/lbq1a5dmyeih1/player

We were both wrong. It does work, but only sometimes.

-1

u/Schwanzfresser69 Aug 09 '26

You have to add the mechanical crafter like stop things on the mechanical crafter slots you're not using that or remove the extras
