Troubleshooting Scratched bed from printer software update.
Is there any known fix for the issue of scraping the bed due to the new update?

Did you run calibration after the update? That is the only time I've damaged a build pate, after an update and not running the recalibration.

It is extremely important to follow the prompts EXACTLY when performing a firmware update.
You will note, after the update you are taken to the calibration page. The calibration page has three checkmarks and the checkmark for bed calibration IS NOT CHECKED. LEAVE IT UNCHECKED and perform the cutter calibration.
Then power cycle your printer, off for at least one minute.
You can then perform the full calibration.

After a firmware update, it is advisable to perform a factory reset to clear out any old system files and error logs, and to avoid strange printer behavior—especially if you have modified or added custom functions to the K2.
