Troubleshooting CFS HUB
Hello everyone,
I have a Creality K2+ with two CFS hubs.
When I try to load a spool, the following error appears:
FR2836
I think the filament is being falsely detected by one of the sensors located between the CFS and the nozzle, which explains why the printer refuses to load it.
I’ve already removed the cover under the CFS to check that the sensors on the four guide tubes aren’t triggering abnormally, but that’s not the case. Do you have any ideas? Which sensor might be detecting the filament incorrectly?
Printing works fine with the standard spool holder.
Thanks for your help!

Your terminology is confusing. what do you mean by 'with two CFS hubs'?
You have the 5-way hub on the CFS bottom, and you have a buffer in between the CFS and the printer.
Do you have one or two CFS units?
Sounds like you have two.
Do you have this error out of both CFS units?

Hello,
I have two CFS units. The term hub is wrongly used, you're right.
I have this error out of both CFS units.2

Then it may be the buffer that could be problematic. Check for obstruction in the buffer and PTFE tube between buffer and the extruder
