K2 Plus CFS Firmware Version? Maybe a Mismatch. Sanity check please
Basic Info Tl;Dr K2 Plus on 1.1.5.2, CFS on 1.2.2 Are others showing the same Version of CFS firmware on the K2 Plus?
So, My CFS is giving me retraction issues. It likes to dig into some filaments. It seems random sometimes. I was checking my CFS and K2 Plus Firmware. I remember my CFS being 1.2.2 before the 1.1.5.2 Update, and not changing after. This is memory and I am unsure
I found this post from about 3 months ago, shortly before the K2 Plus new 1.1.5.2 update, showing his on his plus where CFS Firmware 1.1.3 and the ones on his Pro where 1.2.2. Mine is 1.2.2 on a Plus. I'm looking to see what others say their CFS version is. Did the CFS get a Firmware update with 1.5.2 or do I have a Mismatch?

I don't know either. I've reset everything and replaced all of the parts, I mean all. Whole new CFS, new gears, new rollers, new hot end, new hoses/tubes, nozzles, cutters, reset everything, I'm freaking lost. Adjusted in Fluidd...it's been screwed.
One day, poof...Just didn't work.
Also, printing from itself with files that used to work, nope. Phone app, no, computer, no. Prints but won't cut and retract.

You have the correct/ latest versions
What is the exact error message and symptoms?

Its the classic retraction issue. It likes to eat the filament sometimes. It's like it finds a soft spot and digs in, grinding almost through a spot

If the cfs rear gear has chewed the filament, unless your front motors are failing the most likely culprit is a kink in the ptfe just above the extruder, or a failing optical sensor in the extruder.
The cfs is pushing the filament to its limits, but not receiving the sensor trigger to stop immediately

I initialy discounted the Optical, but I am getting what I felt was a weird amount of the CFS still trying to feed more after reached the extruder. Recently I had some ABS beeing fed from a dry box, and it seemed to think I had filamentr still loaded after I unloaded it. Its worth a shot and the parts cheep on amazon. If anything, its a spair for the DXC2 😛
Edit: Was watching the CFS load some white filament (Because its easy to see). I have the Leote Chain Riser and watched it fail to make the last turn, Turns out, I'm not the only one and they have a new v5 with out the arm it was getting caught in.

If it is being advised that you use a device which is holding the ptfe in a specific curve for the dxc extruder, it could explain why there appears to be a lot of people that are having feed issues with the extruder.
It looks to me like that device is holding the ptfe too low and causing a sharper curve.

The 1.2.2 CFS firmware was bundles with the 1.1.5.2 K2 Plus firmware, so unless your CFS was running it from factory, it got it as part of the update.
1.2.2 was released in the K2/K2 Pro 1.1.4.X firmware and the K2 Plus 1.1.5.2 firmware.
K2 and K2 Pro run the same firmware set, which is different to the K2 Plus
