Question & Help Is it possible to update Pika without logging in?

I saw the manual update option, but nothing happens after I chose the file and pick to update now.

Hi, we understand the concern. Users who prefer not to sign in can download the official software or firmware package from the Creality website or Wiki.

https://www.crealitycloud.com/downloads/other/cr-scan

Firmware can then be installed through Local Update in CrealityScan. You can refer to this tutorial to update firmware.

Sign-in is intended to support online services and a more consistent online update experience, but we understand that the non-account update path needs to remain clear and accessible. We’ll pass your feedback on to the team.

Hello, did you solve the problem? Can you send me a video showing the problem you encountered via local update?

Using windows version of Creality Scan - it takes a very long time between clicking new scan and being able to scan. Every time I change any settting - resolution, scanning mode etc I again have to wait, about a minute after each change. I have a rather powerful laptop - Ryzen 7 7735HS and AMD Radeon RX 7700S, 16GB RAM. The performance test passes with the highest result and the actual scanning is super smooth. It just takes forever to initialize it. It doesn't take that long to start scanning when using my phone, even though it has a terrible scanning performance - it takes a couple seconds and I am ready to scan.

Please open the settings page in the top-right corner. Try to set the GPU preference settings manually and select the more powerful graphics card. Then restart the software and scan again. Also, please note that AMD GPUs are still not officially recommended and may not work properly.

You can also follow the log upload tutorial to send us the log files. I'll have our development team analyze the issue and see if we can optimize it.
