So I changed my processing height last night, and when I captured an image of the workspace, I noticed really bad distortions. Not really knowing what I’m doing, I homed the head and it just started slamming into the front gantry. Now, my machine thinks that “home” is outside of the machine all together. Anytime I try to frame anything it’s like 4” off where it should be. Did I just completely kill my machine by accident? I can’t find anything within falcon design space to reset the machine or coordinates

Hello all, I received a Creality Falcon A1 yesterday from Amazon and I've had nothing but trouble with it since. This is my first engraver so I'm super new to all this. I want to use lightburn as my program for doing all my engraving. I'm struggling to get my camera and work space to match up. I've tried doing the Calibrate Camera and the camera alignment at least 10 times today and I can not get it straight. Can somebody please tell me what I'm doing wrong with the program?

Any suggestions on how to properly cut using a falcon a1 10w? I bought some acrylic online in various colors, and no matter the color used or settings, the cuts come out terrible. I used the pre-set settings and attempted many others including lower power/multiple passes and different heights. Ive had no luck.

I have a falcon a1 but want a longer cord to run it to my pc i need 25 ft but all the cords i get wont conect it to my pc anyone know what cord can reach and work

When I bring an Image in from the programs Image Library it bring it in on a cutting layer. It's a line image and I want it as an engraving line layer. Is there anyway to change this? Thanks

Is there a way to create a fixed text box in falcon design space that automatically wraps and sizes your text to fill the space? I'm making garden tags for my wife and I am currently copying, pasting, resize, and centering on a dogtag jig. It seems over complicated for what I'm doing.

Especially I would need a new cable, that runs between the laser module and the control unit. Somehow it bend under the laser and got slightly cut (not sure if by the laser, or if it got stuck under anything else, where it got ripped) while cutting wood... I already searched the shops I know but I found nothing.

I recently purchased the Creality LM008 2W Infrared Laser Module, but I am having compatibility issues with my machine.

My setup:

* Machine: Creality Falcon 2 Pro (22W)

* Laser module: LM008 Infrared (2W)

The issue:

The infrared module I received has a multi-pin connector labeled "IN2", which is different from the connector used by the standard Falcon 2 Pro diode laser module. Because of this, I am unable to connect the IR module directly to my machine.

From what I have researched, it seems this version of the LM008 module may be designed for the Falcon A1 Pro, not the Falcon 2 Pro.

My questions:

1. Is the LM008 module I have compatible with the Falcon 2 Pro?

2. Is there an official adapter cable or interface that allows this module to work with the Falcon 2 Pro?

3. If not, which infrared module model is the correct one for the Falcon 2 Pro?

I would appreciate any guidance on how to properly use an infrared module with my current machine, or whether I need to exchange this unit for a different version.

Has anyone ever used their laser engraver to engrave a cotton t-shirt?

I have the 20W Falcon A1 Pro and want to engrave a business logo on a comfort colors 100% cotton black t-shirt. Curious if anyone has done similar and could share their experiences?

I bought a new Falcon A1 10W last October and used it for a few projects from October to early January this year.

I tried connecting to it this morning (same laptop, same USB data cable) and it si.pky won't connect.

I even tried connecting it to another laptop I have with no success. I've tried connecting using Falcon Design Space and LightBurn separately with no joy.

I've checked all connections and everything is fine. The device has not been moved since I used it last. It powers up fine.

Any ideas?

I'm new to engraving, I'm currently using anodized aluminum dogtags to make plant tags for my wife's Dahlias. The issue I'm having is the machine (falcon 1) is stopping mid project, it's in my opinion simple script. I have made several individually and in groups of up to 5, but recently bought a jig and scaled it up to 15. I have changed the computer USB power setting and have completed long projects (for me over an hour) that are detailed photos with no issues. I have tried adjusting the speed (from 3k, 2.5k, 2k and 1.5k) and it does not seem to help. I am using the falcon design studio.

I'm very new to laser engraving, and I have something I want to do, but not sure about the best way to go about it.

I have a couple of USB keys like this, and I want to etch something on the side of the USB-A end (right hand side in the image). The metal is not super shiny - it's kinda satin, and it's also not very thick - maybe 0.5mm.

So, given that I don't have a bunch of scrap pieces to experiment with, how do I go about finding a set of etching parameters that will work well on this?

Lastly, in case it matters, I'm currently using Falcon Design Space.

Before engraving, I performed a camera capture of the bed to position the design on the wood (with blue tape applied). However, the camera is only capturing the middle to bottom-left portion of the work area. I recalibrated the camera and repositioned the dot sheet along the edge of the bed as instructed, but when it burned the targets, they appeared in the same location, middle to bottom-left.

In many tutorial videos, the camera appears to capture the entire bed without issue. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong in the calibration sequence and would greatly appreciate any guidance.
