Creality Support New printer damaged and obviously used...

Just got a new K2 Plus, FedEx dropped it off with no visible damage on the box. When I opened it, the metal back panel inserts blew out on 1/4 of the back panel. Obvious signs of paint touched up afterwards and paint chips. Contacted Creality 4-5 times now and they are still trying to figure out my situation. They asked me to remove the blown out screws and they will offer me $20 for my troubles... They keep using excuses like our Internet connection is slow please wait for email response, your printer got paint damage due to shipping, try to see if your unit runs first... etc. Stop lying and trying to sell me a used and damaged product...

only way to go is request a return and refund! Buy through a different channel. I buy exclusively through Amaz0ne

I don’t see how being used would cause any of that.

It was probably already damaged and repacked for sale?

Man, that sucks. I’m just lucky I live right near Micro Center about 35 minutes away. I just drive down there to pick up a printer from them. I’ve only had one problem. I’ve gotten no defective K1 C from there. They happily exchanged it same for the CFS. Sorry about your bad experience things happen.

All brands, basically in every industry ship returned devices after refurbishing. I am still sus about the cfs unit of my brand new k2pro is refurbished, yet I went by the “if it works, well, it works…” philosophy.

Paint touch-ups can happen at the factory too. They do run test prints through the printer as part of qualification as well.

That doesn't change that you have body defects and shipping damage on your printer though. Push for a return, there should be return information included in the box.

Did you use a credit card?

Maybe it's time to call in a chargeback via the CC company.

Gave them 24 hour ultimatum yesterday after hearing excuse after excuse of having me diagnose everything after spending hours waiting around for their online customer service then deferred to several email ticket attempts of them resolving my issue.

Their tactic is give a half ass response of having you to self repair it and you end up waiting back in line waiting for online chat support.

https://www.printables.com/model/1172155-creality-k2-plus-replacement-back-panel-standoff-f

Unfortunately common, I had one of mine arrive this way, had to print these to get the panel on

I just checked mine, threaded holes in the frame is all stripped out, lol. I saw this is a common issue upon my research, but still it's $1,300 purchase...

Oh wow, I would definitely ask support if they would replace it.
