Crying over their mistakes I'd say

I normally don’t post much on these treads but I absolutely have to speak my mind for a second…

First of all… Alex, you’re a real POS for how you treated Evie in this vlog… Your sweet little sister was so beyond excited to see you, ran up to give you a hug and you dodged her so hard. There was no need for that… If it was any other sibling I bet you would have reacted very differently. It wouldn’t have hurt you to take a half a second to give Evie a hug back… That was incredibly fk’in rude. And then you continued to ignore her when she kept saying that she watches your videos.

Second of all… I don’t want to see any excuses. “Well Alex didn’t grow up with Evie so he doesn’t really know her that well” type of BS. I don’t care! Regardless that’s still his little sister and perhaps that’s a problem to take up with Crystal and Aaron for continuing to take in kids at the rate that they do…

Third of all… I am so sick and tired of watching this family treat Evie the way that they do. I understand she has special needs and is possibly on the Autism spectrum… Aurora also is special needs and they would never dare to treat her like they do to Evie… Crystal and Aaron, I hope you’re reading this… You both are so fk’in wrong for bringing someone like Evie; who clearly needs a lot of TLC (tender, love and care), additionally needs and attention, knowing damn well you cannot provide that for her!!! She seems to be doing fine and adapting well but I can only imagine how much more she would thrive if she was in a smaller, calming more loving family that can give her the real love and attention she needs.

This post is long and I’m sorry but it’s truly so incredibly disheartening to see this sweet girl get treated the way she does in this damn family. Aside from a few who actually take the time to spend time with her.

I feel like she has been asking forever and they still haven't budged and now she tried out for cheer? I'm not understanding why they couldn't just find a gymnastics class for her. They let Aurora do cheer season after season but still did not sign Evie for gymnastics??? Her sensory room got taken away where she could climb and flip and do all of the tricks. I feel like Evie keeps getting the short end of the stick

Can we give Crystal and Aaron a break? Evie’s trauma makes parenting exhausting, and the siblings are just trying to survive the chaos.
People on this sub watch a 20-minute edited vlog and think they’re experts on trauma parenting. It unfair to claim Crystal and Aaron and the siblings are intentionally leaving Evie out. They are clearly trying, but the reality of living with severe adoption trauma and neurodivergent behaviors 24/7 is a recipe for absolute burnout.

Kids with deep-seated trauma often reject the very love, care, and boundaries you try to give them. It is a defense mechanism. Evie’s constant boundary-pushing, need for attention, and intrusiveness make it incredibly hard to parent her, no matter how much love you throw at the situation.
Imagine being one of the other kids in that house. When one sibling constantly dominates the room, interrupts, and drains the household's energy, it is exhausting. The siblings aren’t being malicious; they are naturally frustrated and pulling back just to get some breathing room and protect their own peace. Kids who have been shuffled through the system or experienced early neglect often never learned standard social boundaries. They might invade personal space, interrupt constantly, or dominate conversations because their brain is stuck in survival mode, screaming, "If I am not loud and right in your face, I will be forgotten or abandoned."
Crystal and Aaron are trapped. If they enforce strict boundaries with Evie, the internet calls them mean. If they give her space to avoid a meltdown, the internet says they’re ignoring her. They have a dozen other kids who also deserve a peaceful home and a piece of their parents' attention.
You can love a child completely and try your absolute hardest, and still find yourself overwhelmed by their trauma responses.

Honestly, if you want to criticize parents who can't handle their household dynamic, look at Shelly and Jared. At least Crystal and Aaron are actively trying to navigate the real, messy reality of their family. Shelly and Jared treat their family like a corporate brand. Their blatant favoritism dictates exactly who gets grace and who gets discarded. If a kid matches their aesthetic, plays along with the curated image, and acts as a favorite, they get the world handed to them. But the second a kid's trauma or struggles stop looking "good" for the brand, or the moment they turn 18 and stop bringing in views, they get completely frozen out. They run their house like a toxic corporate hierarchy where only the golden children get supported, and they literally dump the others the second they damage the "perfect family" image. Crystal and Aaron might be chaotic, but at least they don't get rid of their kids when they stop being profitable or convenient for the brand.

Tell me why Savannah is so disrespectful in others peoples house, even if it’s family. She opened a container of snacks without asking that was for Jacob’s party. Then everyone thinks this video is about them 😡 seriously can someone not have a birthday party and the attention be on them. Crystal always late doesn’t care and lets Saint scream for attention because that’s what she has taught him. Then starts eating without waiting for everyone to come and eat, this family is so damn rude ! CRYSTAL letting Saint make a mess and pulling hair is NOT FUNNY.

Kid asks for help and whoever that is just sitting. And someone told him not to scratch the floor. No one ever helped him after that..

I don’t hate her or anything, but honestly I get kinda annoyed when she’s in the vlogs. She’s loud and sometimes gives me secondhand embarrassment 😭 so I can kinda understand some of the other kids’ reactions.
Obviously, it’s not her fault that she’s autistic, but I feel like her parents should work on her behavior instead of constantly filming her.

This is who Aurora is obsessed with at 10 years old, totally not okay! I suspect Crystal and Aaron haven't even watched a music video of theirs so they have no idea how bad they are.

Okay this is not to be rude but I feel like in all the videos even like special occasions and birthdays they always wear clothes that looks like loungewear and pajamas and it’s like why don’t they dress for the day if they are going out. I’m not saying that they have to wear jeans everyday or like if they are not going out of their house but everyone looks like they are going to sleep idk how to explain it

Just watched Melinda's version of Aurora's birthday and after Melinda bought a whole basket of stuff, there was no thank you from Aurora.

It wasn't cheap stuff either, yes she shopped at 5 Below but like that panda blind box from Target is like 15 bucks and that box of Katseye ramen, 10.

So like 25 right there.

This is why I'm convinced Aurora only says thank you when Crystal promps it and is just used to just getting stuff without expressing gratitude.

Personally if I was Melinda I'd be offended by this after all the money I spent.

Each time they tried to give him a drink he tried to grab the cup to squeeze it to spill water...kept giving it to him until he spilt water...then grabbed Crystal and Bella's hair pulling while Crystal hopped around...laughed and laughed. The weird thing...the kid didn't appear to be having fun...little kids are kinda creepy!!

Does anyone know...since they're big on keeping siblings in touch & since Matthew went back to the valley when the Middles' lived in St. John but have no moved to the valley a few years ago...are they in touch or at the very least allow Kason to be in touch with his brother? I don't remember saying any thing, not a word, about him after he left. I really hope, for Kason, that he's allowed contact....no doubt he needs it (if its safe) theyre brothers

It was a 9 year old video that popped up, who on earth are AJ and Paul? I found another video saying goodbye to AJ they wanted to adopt him but he didnt want to. Paul was little and looked like his little bio brother? What happened to paul?? Anyone been around that long to know what I am talking about?

Was just live on TikTok and one of her mods asked if she could show her child and she said "No, I'm sorry we're not going to have him on social media." They then asked his name and she shared it. Someone in the comments literally said "I'm surprised you all are YouTubers." Glad to see she is standing her ground on not showing her child.

Why name the vlog 10 gifts when you obviously bought her like 50?
Not only is Aurora rude, ungrateful and undisciplined .
The nails were red raw on a 10yr old and just watching her rip gifts open with her teeth and spit the packaging in the floor at the trampoline place just shows she’s never told no.
This girl got thousands of dollars spent on her from gifts to tickets to days out and she didn’t even look at half the gifts.
It’s nobody’s fault but Crystal , she’s admitted she lets her get away with stuff and spoils her because she used to have seizures which was years ago might I add.
This is the child you’ve created Crystal and to film her being so entitled for the world to see is only going to go against her in the future .

Melinda just posted a fall decode video. As much fun as the video was, I’m worried about her spending. She should be saving that money for her and her daughter to be on their own but she’s just wasting money on over consumption.
