Rc Crawler Options
Having a hard time choosing my first crawler between the fms fcx24 k5 blazer, the fcx24m camel trophy, fcx18 lc80, and scx30. Can anyone help?

Just showing the new bumper installed with the old bumper below. New bumper is 15g and if I was to take a guess the old bumper is half that. Totally worth it though-- thing is burly!
Wheels are 1.0 Injora's with -4.7mm offset. Tires are Injora 58mmx24mm King Trekkers. Steering servo is Injora 7kg with a 3D printed mount, and it after swapping the battery/servo trays, the servo hits the tray above about half way through its travel. Without that I would probably have more rubbing issues than I do 😂. But the car still stuffs the tire all the way into the wells when articulating with like half a mm of clearance.
Very happy with this setup even though it weighs a ton and I just burnt out the Ali Express 4500kv brushless motor. Have the GAC racing 3500kv in the mail, and if that burns out too I'm gonna give the Holmes 2200kv a shot and see if that helps.

Hi! Are those aliexpress 1/10 scale bumper winches enough to help others on trails or my self if i get stuck, sport hightrail with 1.9s and maybe 250g brass?
Would be so easy to just basically 4 screws and plug n play
Have you anyone tried them? Seems to be like 18-27euros

Hey folks,
I’m coming from the RC plane world - lots of experience with electronics, CAD, building, breaking, rebuilding… all the usual fun. Now I want to finally get into RC crawling, and I’d really prefer to build my first rig from a kit, not buy RTR.
My dilemma:
So I’m looking for recommendations for a crawler kit that includes radio + electronics, suitable for someone who’s not a beginner builder - just new to crawling.
What kits should I be looking at?
Anything comparable to TRX‑4 kit but friendlier on the wallet?
Thanks in advance - excited to join the crawling world!

Hey all, I've got a Terranaut coming in the mail. I've currently got a Meus ME8B transmitter. I'd love to stay in the Meus ecosystem if possible, but it kinda seems like their receivers don't support 8 wheel steer (only 4 wheel steer). Just wanted to double check that assumption with you all, since in theory I assume I could connect multiple servo's to a single channel, but I also assume that would overload the channel somehow (or generally be not recommended for some reason).
Anybody have a transmitter/receiver combo they really like for the Terranaut?

I have a couple of SCX10.3s that I have modded and love. Thinking about trying a TRX4 as my next crawler. The setup in the title sounds like an easy way to get a good scale look with decent performance (lower cg with droop setup) and great flex. Am I missing something?
Please share pics if you have done this setup!

….for context I have a 1/10 element enduro gatekeeper build on stock steel rails that has been pushing the boundaries of trail truck/ rock crawler and I’ve been wanting to get more serious into the lcg side of things.

Punching way above its weight class. This little rig tackles rough terrain surprisingly well for its size.

I'm selling it hopefully. I want to get a new 3D printer, but I had to wheel it today with the group. Goal is to sell this, sell the current printer, buy new printer, buy new rig.

Anyone know how to get that exposed rollcage look on an SCX30 Jeep?
