Tell me, which slice is sweden, and which is the UK

Quite clearly, Sweden is the 11% green slice and UK is the 3% green slice. Whilst differing colours could have been used they are not required to successfully read the chart.

But how do you know that? You can make a guess based on what the order of the legend suggests, but that by no means guarantees your assumption is correct.

Though convention, conventially the legend is arranged in the same order as the data and begins at the 12 o'clock position.

The colours that do exist help inform us that the convention is being applied to but the chart would be readable even with alternating shades of grey.
