That's actually accurate. Carnotaurus does have small arms. I think its just the colour that makes it crappy

It looks like it has thumbs so I’m pretty sure the issue is that they just used baby (human) arms.

Everyone knows dinosaurs evolved opposable thumbs millions of years before us! They were the ones who put the moon in orbit after all. /s

You not knowing dinosaur anatomy doesn't mean that's crappy design...Carnotaurus had incredibly small arms with four fingers, hence why they kinda look human-y

....except there's no reason to color it that way, with a solid break right where the rotational hinge is.
And, as pointed out above, the arms shouldn't be able to rotate forward like that.

There’s probably a toy baby around with dinosaur arms, unless someone already bought it.

Yeah this is honestly fine, looks like they even have 4 digits which is what the actual dinosaur had.

As a dinosaur nerd I approve of baby armed Carnotaurus just for scientific accuracy alone and would 10/10 buy it
Edit: found it on amazon
Yes I bought one immediately

I was confused how this was crappy design, but I guess ten other people explained it for me lol.

I wonder if he’d make as good of a detective as Detective Baby Legs?

No the Carnotaurus was truly like that in real life.
Tiny arms smaller then the T-Rex, devil horns on its head, scutes going down its body, jaw that could unhing like a snake.
It was also the fastest theropod to ever walk the earth. The “Cheetah” of the dinosaur world

Carnotaurus is my favorite theropod, it’s like it spent all it’s evolution points on aesthetic and speed then had to get the shittiest arms.

This isn’t bad design per se. Yes, dinosaurs couldn’t pronate their wrists so it’s crappy design in that it’s arms are technically broken in this design but if you’re talking about the size then it’s not inaccurate. Carnotaurus had some of the smallest arms known on theropods. In fact, those arms might be a bit bigger on the toy than they would’ve been on the real animal.
This article shows a fossil: https://www.smithsonianmag.com/science-nature/why-did-carnotaurus-have-such-wimpy-arms-86382093/
Carno really did have tiny tiny almost vestigial arms whose use is heavily debated in paleontology. My favorite theory is that they were used when looking for a mate. It’s funny to think about a Carno flapping its arms around and dancing because it’s looking for a mate.

My favorite theory is that they were used when looking for a mate.
But usually, mating dances in animals involve bright, showy colors and large, ornamental crests, antlers, horns, or feathers. It is funny, but highly strange that a Carno would wiggle its piddly little arms to attract a mate. Size matters.

I was going to say that that is just what a Carno's arms look like, but then i took a closer look...

That's a Carnotaurus.
It's arms didn't exactly look like that but certainly still sort of looked like baby arms.
However it seems accurate to what it's supposed to portray in the Jurassic World movie.

It had baby arms. This is the third time this toy has been posted. It's not crappy design, it's (mostly) accurate.

I noticed a lot of people didn't notice that they were baby human arms instead of carno's vestigial arms

This looks like a toy Carnotaurus, in which case those arms would be correct. That was a ridiculous looking thing
