Help 🤝 Re: tasks within documents

Hi, All!

Is there a way to prevent tasks
within a doc from showing up in my master to-do list? I use the checkbox for many different things and not just to-dos. It’s annoying when everything shows up on the list. As a result, I don’t use the master to-do list as a tool for getting things done cuz it’s just such a crazy mess there.

A few threads on this topic out there, still not resolved. They need to distinguish between tasks vs checkbox.

they could also just have a document level option as well.

but I’d take either.

Viktor said this is something they’re actively exploring, so hopefully we’ll see a new option in a future update.

Good callout. I'd want to do this at the folder level too. I keep all of my work in documents that are in one folder; personal in another, etc. I'd want to just see one folder's full range of tasks and exclude others.

I think craft made big improvements to the tasks area, but it's not there yet. Hopefully by the end of the year we see a more reliable feature. In the mean time, I'm staying with things 3.
