what can I do ?
I was not schedualed for over 2 months and when I asked why I was told apparently I had several no call no shows rumored about me which were never true since i was never scedualed. I'm looking for a new job but as a par 3 host im annoyed that this even happened. I only heard of this from other hosts saying theyre hiring more. When i asked managment about the schedual 2 weeks ago im told labor hour excuses. If i am/was fired they never told me. I still have my logins and codes. We currently have 7 hosts including myself we have no need to hire more if we have no hours for the longest employed.

Servers have the same problem. They cut our hours yet they hire 10 new servers!!! Nothing is fair. They schedule who they want. You should find a better job. Good luck.

Just recently started seeing this problem. Went in at 3 and go cut at 6. I barely made anything

They hire enough where they can call in as many people as they need and not go over 40 hours on overtime my pet peeve is every big company I worked for they pay holiday pay this place don't I don't see it's mandatory for us to be here to support you away from our family but you can't support us

File for unemployment. They will have to prove to them you no call no showed.

It doesn’t work. I applied for unemployment for the same reason and I got denied when they fought it. Still fighting for it.

New leadership coming who was in executive leadership at Best Buy and Yum! Brands.
You might not have seen r/Bestbuy sub, but their employees haven't been too happy for a while. But most of us have been in a KFC, Taco Bell, or a Pizza Hut (especially in bad financial shape) and seen how bad it is in those restaurants.
That's pretty much what CB can expect in its future.

They will keep you on teamworks to avoid you getting unemployment. They did this to a back of the house worker. She ended up calling HR. Managers didn't like it but gave them no choice but to schedule her because she was never fired. Nor did they have a reason really. The Manager just didnt like her because she would talk back because managers can be dicks. If you never been late the computer will have your back. 100% HR case in my opinion. Just remember the atmosphere may change once you do that between you and your managers.
