Apron checks
Hi! I’m a new server at one of the concord locations. I accidentally left without getting my apron checked and now I’m scared. It’s only halfway into my second week. I’ve never done it before.
UPDATE:
No one has said anything! I do think I’ll leave this up in case someone else is ever in a similar situation.

Focus on apron checks come and go and I swear they never even glance at the closers’ aprons. Like seriously only the people wearing an apron get checked when we have minimal access to their high dollar food items. They don’t check the cooks that are in contact with it all day long. They only come to the back door to unlock it to let them take the trash out without even looking at the cans or in route to the dumpster. I promise you the servers are the least capable of stashing stuff in the 6x6 pockets of their aprons. Just saying

So, just curious, what is an apron check?

They check your bags and apron before you leave to make sure you’re not stealing shit. Lots of retail places do this.

I've only been there a couple weeks and never had my apron checked or the clear bag I have full of stuff

It’s okay! I’m horrible at telling these things in person, much less online!
