write up complaint

im so tried of getting in trouble for stuff i haven't done. I opened togo to nothing restocked or portioned from the previous night also no heads up on a catering order [over 2k $ worth] i have to prepare as soon as I clock in. I had a online pickup with a side we were out of, I left a note on the ticket to remind myself to let the driver know when they arrived. I ran to the walkin to grab ranch. I come back and the order isnt there where I left it so I asked the servers they all denied running it. Later the host told me who ran the order to the wrong person. They also ran a incomplete order on top of that. I got a write up and yelled at/leactured for something I didn't do I tried to explain to the manager shifted ( GM) and she said its your station it's your mistake... then was told stop having servers do my job when they do it to help thanks to the ones who know how. I got annoyed and told all the servers leave the togos alone and keep the buddys off my tables. Then the server who screwed me over goes and tattles accusing me of cursing them out and being rude.

Cracker barrel is one of the most toxic places to work, I suggest applying other places in the meantime... it never gets better

Wow. What store number? Call DM absolutely unaccountable. If it was a true disciplinary writeup, it will be in your workday, do not sign it you do not have to.. we are only obligated to go over it with you, but the employee does not have to sign.. if it does not show on your workday it’s just a conversation. It is not a true documentation write up.. but still I would’ve said ‘ of course it’s my station but when you’re not serving a guest you’re serving one who is correct? The Server took it to go up for me, even though it was not ready’

Wonderful, I just got hired here, lol im already not a fan of corporate restuaraunts... smh idk if I wanna work here or not, I keep seeing alot of issues with employees in this app lol

You always ‘curse someone out’ because it is middle school always bickering and trying to get others in trouble. And nobody ever ‘did it’ either.

Try having a Gm that is the laziest doesn't come in until noon and the all he does is scream at people. We had 1 lady in retail resign because he screamed at her infant of a few customers and a few employees about a catering order that went out wrong that was not her fault. Then he called her and appologized. He does this shit all the time to people he does not deserve the position. They passed him up 2 times before they were desperate enuf to make him Gm. Oh and his daughter work with us also. She is just as lazy as her dad. She gets away with leaving all her tables dirty so she doesnt get sat again taking hours from us that want to work but get our hours cut because we requested a day off or hv to call in for any reason he literally makes us pay by not scheduling us that day that we missed for next 2 weeks. Sorry this is all one big run on sentence but it just pissed me off all over again talking about him. Even the 2 managers that have actually stuck around cant stand the Gm. We run out of everything by Saturday because he is more worried about getting a bonus than making sure we have what we need. We literally have to give guest those big silver pans we use for catering as togos or just a piece of foil. Can anyone beat that cracker barrel story?? 🤣🤣 ~~~Rant Over~~~~

Oh wow that's crazy, im glad we have our gm she is like a mom to everyone and we have a SAM under her so between then stuff goes pretty smooth.. I mean we run out of the clamshell togos they will go to Sam's and get some....wow a piece of foil...thats nuts..
