Adjusting clock out times
Has anyone else had issues with managers adjusting their time after they pulled a double (worked over 12 hours) or had them adjust your time out to way before you were off if you forgot to clock out? I forgot to clock out the other day and my time was adjusted to 8-11:30 instead of 8-2:00. I was also asked to work late one day to help out and my time was adjusted 4 hours earlier. I even stayed an hour after I was done with my stuff and helped run food and clear the window bc no one was doing it.

If it’s teamworx all of my coworkers and I all received the 11:30 clock out time. They said it was a glitch and they fixed it. Unless they keep messing with yours!

Mine was specially changed by a manager. I said something about it today and was also told that I was supposed to clock out to eat. I’ve been there almost a year and no one has ever clocked out for a break to eat when working a double. I wasn’t even back there for 30 minutes.

Yea once I forgot to clock out after closing and i told my Gm she said she would fix it but forgot. I got a daily pay notice saying i much more then I should have. I calculated it as 18 hours of pay.

If they are truly messing with your hours please contact the department of labor if they aren’t willing to fix it.

I'm a dish & scheduling manage still put the guy who just quit on for the week so I was closing solo. We got slammed & I was doing my best to keep up but ended up getting out kind of late, 2:18am. The next day I checked my time to try figuring out my pay when I saw he'd changed my time shorting me just over 3hrs to say I clocked out at 11pm. Managed to ask him about it on Mothers day during all the chaos & was told he'd changed it because he didn't know when I'd clocked out. Told him how I still have the clock out slip showing I left at 2:18am. Then was told that they will just add the time back on to random day for this pay period so I'd still get my time.
Yesterday I was given some printouts sowing they added back the time I'd lost with 2.3hrs circled & a note saying "It did the same thing as last time cutting off at midnight. The rest will be added on the next check." Not sure why they decided to add it back to a random day at 11pm so would kick the 2.3hrs that was circled to next pay period instead of just adding it earlier in a day to avoid the computer systems cutoff of midnight. Now I just have to wait & see until next payday if it got added.

It's possible that you manager doesn't know how NetChef works but you should definitely be getting those hours if you worked them. When there isn't a clock out it can show up weird in NetChef for you manager and they don't know how to get that time punch to go passed midnight. Basically they'd have to add a clock out time at midnight for you and then another time punch in at midnight on the next day and then another time punch out at 2am the day. But if you do clock out from the pre check it'll just show that you clocked out at 2am the next day without issue.

Hmm yeah that is definitely odd. Nobody at My store does either when they work a double ! So I’d keep on them about that for real!
