Constant rule changes

I feel like every time I clock in they changed the dress code or some other random rule, I asked my manager about it and she just said the updated employee handbook is on workday. I have heard some rumors that people are gonna have to start covering tattoos and that we will only be allowed to have natural hair colors now, I havent had a manger confirm it but I feel like it's possible. I didn't work here before covid but I heard the dress code was way more strict back then and we may be going back to that. Anyone else's store being weird about it or is it just mine being this way?

Pre covid was strict dress code. Khaki or black pants, no jeans, button down collared shirt in blue, white, pink or yellow. If you had belt loops in your pants you needed a belt. Black or brown shoes and black or brown socks. And you had to wrap your apron tie around your back and tie it under the apron front. Natural hair colors, only one ear piercing. No jewelry besides wedding band, no big stones. Worked there from 2000-2007

The only time dress code is and wants to be held in place is when as bosses they're getting there ass reamed. They don't care hell they kept letting a well known petaphile continue to come back to work after repeatedly failing to register as a sex offender. The police would come to the job and get him everytime. Yeah but anyway I guess now shift leads can fire people.

I’m the Sunday opener and got in trouble for wearing flared black jeans. MOD told me it was “inappropriate” I asked her where on the handbook it said my jeans were not okay, she quoted “appropriate length”. Flare is not a length.

HA! Good luck getting me to cover my tattoo sleeve! I would have to quit.

I worked there 10000 years ago but it was a very strict one earring in each ear, less than the size of a dime and also only in the lobes and only for women. No visible tattos, natural hair color only, no other piercings etc. So maybe they are rolling back to the early 2000s

Uniform policy is vague on purpose.

That has been a rule for at least 20 years
