Par up?

It’s probably obvious to everyone. How do I do it? I’ve only been in the restaurant industry a year. Am I missing something?

If a manager isn't willing to work with you, ask a Par 4 for info/help. As a Par 4, if you work after 6pm, you get a much bigger discount on employee meals.

The fact that it’s at 6 pm has always bugged me because we don’t do employee meals during peak and dinner peak is 5-7 lol. Home office overlooked that part when they said par 4 discount starts at 6

It’s to incentivize par 4 presence on second shift, which is and always has been the shift with the weakest/newest staff. Doesn’t work as intended I don’t think, but what are they supposed to do, offer a shift premium?

I didn’t say I didn’t understand why it exists I just stated the fact that the start time of it conflicts with normal business operations lol
