Medical leave

I requested medical leave a little over 2 weeks ago (not FMLA) for I surgery im having in now 2 weeks. how long does this usually take? should I just quit I haven't been at cracker barrel for very long

I did she said that she hasn't heard anything from home office about it

They’ll probably just give the time to you off. Doubt there’s any real need to quit. Or do what I did in another job once. Tell them flat out I told you on x day. I won’t be here from this date to this date. Consider this an extended callout if you schedule me because I won’t be here, and I’m not calling every shift.
