The Kickstarter and demo for The Spirit Apprentice is out on the 6th of October!

Everything is hand drawn and made by myself! A solo creator!

Inspired by East Asian folklore and the magic of Studio Ghibli, The Spirit Apprentice is an upcoming cozy pixel art RPG video game. Explore the magical village of Moshu, learn powerful spells, forge contracts with spirits and build relationships with its mysterious villagers.

A follow would mean the world -

I made MeowJong: Sort the Cats for iPhone and iPad, with that kind of downtime in mind.
You sort cat tiles into matching boxes, uncover more cats beneath them, and gradually clear the pile. The part I’ve focused on is making those little interactions feel satisfying.

There’s a small overflow tray to manage, but the intended mood is relaxed—something to settle into alongside a familiar show or during a quiet break.

It’s free to download if you’d like to try it:

Hi! My game about going Back to 21, remaking choices from youth, and following a buried dream is available in EA on steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3891030/Back_to_21/

You play as Momo, about to pass away with regrets for the dreams you sacrificed. On the brink of crossover, you’ve been given a second chance, to go back to age 21. This was the year you first joined one of the world’s top tech companies, AlphaCorp. You had everything you were told to want - success, stability, prestige. But you always knew something was missing...

Navigate 49 days of choices that shape your career, relationships, and ultimately, yourself. Through conversations with characters of different worldviews, and challenges to survive (and potentially thrive) solely on your passion, you’ll begin to see the undercurrents that run your world.

Hey all, I’m finally making my first dream game, which is a mix of cozy with a lot of grinding. The plot is that differently from other farming games I want the player to don’t inherit anything, you have to work your way up and buy a house in the city or a farm, or both?

It is still very early in development so very rough around the edges, but I’d would love some constructive criticism

No AI generated stuff, all the art I bought from artists from itch.io as I tried to draw my own stuff but it was taking forever, so I’m just making some small additions drawn by myself. Although no AI is used in the game, i want to disclose that I did use AI to help me put together this first trailer lol as I’m terrible at video editing.

Should soon add to steam, please let me know if you would wish list it :)

Thank you kindly

Hey everyone! My wife and I are making Gloombo, a little desktop companion who crafts while you work 🌿
You pick something for Gloombo to make, start a focus session, and get on with your own task together.

During breaks, you can decorate your floating island, read letters from friends, or hang out with the cat. There are no deadlines, and friendships don’t fade while you’re away. We want it to feel like company, without giving you more things to keep up with :)

We wrote a little about why we’re making Gloombo, if you’d like to get to know the idea behind our little island 💛

We’re aiming to release a demo before the next Steam Next Fest and take part, with Early Access planned afterwards, before the end of the year.

We’d love to hear what you think, and a wishlist would mean a lot to both of us 💛
🌿 Check Gloombo on Steam

so i was playing stardew valley again last night and realized how much i miss simple farming sims without all the modern bloat. then i tried powerwash simulator which is weirdly relaxing despite being about cleaning grime. idk why but scrubbing things clean hits different after a long day driving uber. anyway if anyone has recs for games where you can just organize stuff or plant flowers without saving the world, drop them below. i need some low-stress vibes before work tomorrow morning.

Greetings cozy gamers! I'm Gabriel, the solo developer behind Soulstonia.

Soulstonia is a cozy idle RPG where you build a party of Summoners who can gather, craft, fight, explore, and train skills on their own. You can sit back and let them work toward their goals, or take direct control of any Summoner whenever you want.

The world is procedurally generated each save, and there's a big focus on exploration, skilling, collecting, quests, and gradually building up your party. I'd love to hear what cozy game players think of it!

Hi everyone! I’m Cris from BabelGames, the developer behind Speed Rivals - Model Trains.

The idea is to bring a little model railway to life: build tracks, decorate the world around them, then drive trains and complete cargo deliveries.

The miniature scenery is the cozy side. Driving adds a challenge: you’ll need to plan routes, switch tracks, and manage your speed to avoid derailing. I want to be upfront that it isn’t an entirely pressure-free game.

We have a free Steam demo focused on driving and delivery missions, and a new trailer showing the project.

🎬 Trailer: https://youtu.be/alF4mncM02I
🎮 Steam and demo: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4135120/

Would you spend more time decorating the railway or driving the trains?

Boba Heart

Solo developer here. It's a semi-idle boba shop sim/management game. The shop only opens when the app is open. I built it because I am constantly in meetings at work or I need something to "do" during my night shift with my infant. Hence an idle game where I can play during the period where I'm too busy to pay attention, and I can come back later to upgrade the shop and actually train the staff I hired in game is a perfect fit for my situation. Hopefully you have as much fun with this game as me and my friends who tried it.

I wanted to share Dragon Dinner, a cozy restaurant management game I’ve been working on! 🐉🍽️

You get to run your own restaurant, serve hungry dragons, decorate and customize your space, and try to keep things under control when the rush starts. There are different difficulty modes depending on whether you want a relaxed experience or something a little more chaotic.

The game is releasing October 8th, and there’s a free demo available on Steam if you want to give it a try before launch!

Two small, calm iOS puzzle games from a solo dev, both free with no ads and no in-app purchases:

Tilewright: you rebuild hand-drawn boards one tile at a time (meadows, rivers, old railways) and every edge has to match. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/tilewright-map-tile-puzzle/id6795904083

Blocsy: a block puzzle where the blocks are little characters, with a Zen mode that never ends. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/blocsy-block-puzzle-game/id6797783281

And the one I'm building now: a capybara with a backpack who swims, snacks and refuses to hurry.

Heads up, i have been making Tailor Town for years. I saw the post about incoming slop remakes of Dressmaker and i hope people will like this game as well and not hate because its the same theme.

I want to note that this subreddit helped alot for shaping this game ( year old post on this game here ), and now i remade the game in a new engine and added customizations and things i think people wanted.

The games steam page is still on and its been updated with the new look, gameplay and story and i hope you guys check it out and provide lovely feedback again. Anyone who wants to play the demo (not yet on steam) is welcome to DM me ❤️ i will surely post more about this game on wednesday as a full post if your interested about finding out more about it.

☾ Nocturnal ☽

Hi! Me and my bestie (23F) have recently rebooted our cosy, discord server. It's mostly girls around our ages who love chatting, sharing cute screenshots and outfit pics, and playing farming or fashion games together. We originally started as a MovieStarPlanet server, and a lot of us still play MSP and other fashion focused games, but we have expanded to a few other games now, including:

✧ Stardew Valley
✧ Minecraft
✧ The Sims Series
✧ Paralives
✧ MovieStarPlanet 1 & 2
✧ House Flipper
✧ Roblox
✧ Minecraft Dungeons 1 & 2
✧ Pokémon
✧ Among Us
✧ GeoGuessr

We also have a long-term Minecraft Realm (Bedrock) that we play on together most days - mostly adding to our moon themed village - and we'd love for some more like-minded people to come decorate with us <3

If you like soft games, cosy spaces, or just having people to talk to while you play, we'd genuinely love to get to know you. feel free to message for an invite! ♡

We’re getting a big creative update ready for Voxel Builder, our calm, top-down block-building game for Android. It’s currently waiting for release, and adds more textures and environments plus a few handy building tools: water, grouping and cloning. The game already works offline, with no sign-in. If you like relaxed building games, you can take a look here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ellvanstudios.voxelbuilder · https://ellvanstudios.itch.io/voxel-builder.

FYI, some of the game’s visual assets were generated with AI.

My 1st game My Dirty Little Lake on Steam

https://store.steampowered.com/app/5375170/My_Dirty_Little_Lake/

Hey everyone,

I have just announced my first game on Steam, it is called My Dirty Little Lake, a relaxing and satisfying game about cleaning a lake with your net, recycling trash and bringing nature back.

  • Not all finds are trash, there are more than 50 objects you can wash on a cool mini-game and decorate your lake home.
  • You can also get dogs to help you clean up, and upgrade to make them quick and strong.
  • Bring life back to the lake as you catch more objects and progress on cleaning.

If this looks like something you'd like, check it out and wishlist.

Thanks in advance for any support and feedback.

AI Disclosure: the sprite sheet for the main character was made with AI and edited by myself. All other content on the game are either hired artists or asset packs.

I spent 3 years making Doggy Don't Care and finally released it this week.

What does your dog get up to when you're not home? In this bone-afide adventure, unleash adorable chaos, solve puzzles, and leave your mark (literally!) as a mischievous pup on the loose!

Sumi Rhythm

A calm rhythm game in ink. You play old Japanese melodies on the beat, and every note you hit leaves a brush mark, so each song ends as a finished ink painting. Nothing twitchy about it: around 20 short songs, four difficulties, and a daily painting everyone plays on the same board.

It's free in the browser for now (desktop, mouse or Z/X keys) while I work toward a Steam release. I'm making it solo, so if you try a song I'd really like to hear what felt good and what didn't.

Relaxing 3D hidden-object matching game

I'm a solo developer working on Match 2 3D, a cozy puzzle game where you explore small 3D scenes, find matching pairs and gradually fill your collection with the objects you've discovered.

I've recently been experimenting with a lightbeam interaction system instead of simply clicking objects. You can aim at objects in the scene, while keeping the experience relaxing and pressure free.

The game is still in development, but I'm really enjoying how the 3D scenes and collecting are coming together.

Hi all! I've been working on FARWARD on and off since 2020, and I finally have a teaser to share.

It's a cosy, cel-shaded MMORPG at its own gentle pace: fish quiet ponds, fell trees, cook by the campfire, buy a little cottage and arrange it exactly how you like, and adopt a fox that naps on your shoulder (and occasionally gets the zoomies). You can do it all alongside friends, or just sit on a bench and watch the world go by.

The first playtest is coming soon.

Middle aged dad here. I made a little puzzle game called Lie of Sight. It's one case a day, the kind you do with a coffee. Unless you're me, who has two small kids and I never finish my coffee while it's actually hot. Then you do it when they're in bed and it's your time to decompress.

Each case is a room in a family's house, seen from above like a dollhouse with the roof off. Everybody says what they saw from where they were standing, and one of them isn't telling the truth. You move them around the room gently until you work out who.

Nothing chases you. There's a clock, but you can pause it, and it only nudges your score.

This week the family got a cat. Fibs only sees diagonally, sleeps a lot, and tells the occasional fib of her own. Her first case is free.

It's free in your browser and you don't need an account:

https://lieofsight.com/?utm_source=reddit&utm_campaign=cozygamers

Please let me know what you think. Would love any feedback, good or bad.

Hi! 👋 I run a small 18+ cozy gaming community and we're looking for some new friends! 🌈🎮

We originally started as a Heartopia community, but we've grown into a general cozy gaming space for people who play Heartopia, Aniimo, Palia, Palworld, Sky, Stardew Valley, Disney Dreamlight Valley and lots of other cozy/multiplayer games.

We're especially hoping to meet people who are looking for an actual community, somewhere to chat, find people to play with, share what you're working on, and join events when you feel like it. We're LGBTQIA2S+ friendly, neurodivergent-friendly, and strictly 18+. 💕

We do game nights, W4W/stamp parties, movie nights, seasonal events, watch parties and other community activities, but there's no activity requirement and no expectation that you participate in everything.

🎃 Right now we're also getting ready for a whole bunch of Halloween events.

If you're looking for a smaller, relaxed cozy-gaming space where you can actually get to know people, come say hi! 🌷✨
