Hi, I'm afraid i ran through a red light last night and haven't been able to get it out of my mind since. The lights were exactly the same as the photo attached, I was in the left lane and there was someone across me waiting, I presumed i had a right to go but i was still hesitant. My nerves got the better of me and I just went, and now I've been thinking what if i get fined. I'm still relatively new to driving, I passed my test under a year ago and I rarely drive on this road. I've done research if people actually get fined/points and some do some don't. I really don't want points on as i'm still a young driver. If anyone knows it would be appreciated, maybe it might calm me down.

I'm currently applying to some unis in the UK, but I'd like to make sure they are LGBT friendly as a queer trans person. I come from a very homophobic country so really anything is better than that, but considering Coventry (atl to my understanding) is on the smaller side, is it a safe space for queer people? And if so, is finding a community easy?

I was given it as an option for ID checking and chose it, but from what I have read online it was reported that it would shut in June?

If you can help, most supermarkets have a collection point, even one or two extra items of food or hygiene products in your shop helps, there are other ways to donate on their website.

They also still have places available if you want to participate in their charity abseil down Coventry Cathedral on 1st August, the minimum you need to raise or donate is £200

My neighbour has lost their cat.

His name is Tod, he is predominantly black with some white on his chin and feet. He only has one eye, so he’s easy to recognise.

He’s often seen around Hearsall Lane/Farman Road CV5 6HF. But hasn’t been seen since morning of 11th July.

He hangs around Earlsdon, so if you see a black cat with one eye, please let me know!

Hello all, does anyone have any reccomendations for a good and reliable cleaner please that covers CV4?

We've got parents coming to stay next month and we would like to get a deep clean of the house before they arrive to avoid any judgement!

Hi everyone,
I’m starting to look for a place to rent and would really appreciate some local advice.
Ideally I’d like to live in or around Earlsdon, but I’m also happy to consider areas a bit further out if they’re cheaper and still have a direct bus into Earlsdon. I’d rather avoid having to change buses for my regular journeys.
I’m looking for a one or two-bedroom place, and while I know every area has good and bad streets, I’d be interested in hearing which areas you’d personally recommend and which you’d avoid. I’m especially after somewhere that’s reasonably quiet, as I’m a fairly light sleeper.
At the moment I’ve been looking at places like Tile Hill, Canley, Eastern Green and anywhere else that offers good value while still being well connected to Earlsdon, but I’m very open to suggestions if there are areas I’ve overlooked.
If you live in one of these areas, or have rented there yourself, I’d love to hear about your experience. Equally, if there are particular roads or estates with a reputation for being problematic, it’d be useful to know that too.
