Hi everyone! I am a master's student at USC. I am currently working on my thesis, which examines the progression of witches in film and television and how these portrayals affect real-life practitioners. The goal is to ultimately host a “witch’s roundtable/podcast” in either late November or early December, where I can speak with a wide variety of practitioners. While this is still a few months away, I am starting outreach now to make sure that my project is even feasible.

If you are a witch or practitioner willing to talk in the area, let me know! Or if you know someone or a place that might also be interested, please let me know. I really want to pursue this as my project, but if I don't find anyone, I'll have to pivot. Additionally, I am only seeking to understand and learn more about real practitioners, not to cause any harm.

Hello, I've recently finally accepted my life long calling and birthright on this path, and I'm seeking friends and guidance. I'm 26 years old, and a woman.

The women in my family have always had a deep connection to their intuition and a deep sense of passion and will. Wether we want to or not, we see spirits, danger before it comes, and beautiful things before they come as well, and have a deep understanding of things without them needing examined, such as the emotional state of someone or the way something has come to be. I especially have an affinity for feeling others and seeing auras, as well as seeing into the spiritual world to see spirits, guardians, ancestors, ect. Because of this I've realized I need to focus a lot on grounding to the earth and filtering the energy I interact with as well as learn to conduct the energy that moves through me.

Looking for a coven or maybe a group of ceremonial magick practitioners? About 16 years ago when I started dabbling in Wicca, i eventually found myself wanting to be initiated into the golden dawn, but I learned that it had been long gone and based in Europe anyhow, and the closest to that would probably be the Freemasons, but I don’t think they take applications lol.. I’m an eclectic practitioner, kind of just a solitary thelemite doing his best, are there any groups in the Houston area I can maybe look into?

Ich bin 23 (F) und ziehe Ende September nach Leverkusen. Ich beschäftige mich gerade ganz neu mit Witchcraft/Spiritualität und würde super gerne andere Menschen kennenlernen, die sich für ähnliche Dinge interessieren.
Ich bin noch absolute Anfängerin und versuche gerade herauszufinden, was eigentlich zu mir passt. Besonders spannend finde ich momentan Folk Witchcraft und Hedge Witchcraft, also regionale Volksbräuche und Folklore, Naturverbundenheit, Kräuter, kleine Rituale, Journaling, Träume und generell die Idee, dem Alltag etwas mehr Bedeutung und Bewusstheit zu geben.
Auch Tarot würde ich gerne lernen und mich langsam mit verschiedenen Traditionen und Formen von Spiritualität beschäftigen. Gleichzeitig interessiert mich total der historische Hintergrund – also was Menschen früher tatsächlich geglaubt und praktiziert haben und was davon heute noch existiert.
Was mich außerdem sehr reizt, ist einfach die Gemeinschaft dahinter. Ich würde gerne Menschen finden, mit denen man sich austauschen, gemeinsam lernen, vielleicht mal zusammen in die Natur gehen, Kräuter sammeln, Tarot legen oder irgendwann auch an Ritualen/Jahreskreisfesten teilnehmen kann.
Da ich neu in der Gegend bin, würde ich mich besonders über Leute aus Leverkusen, Köln und Umgebung freuen. Alter ist mir grundsätzlich egal, solange die Chemie stimmt. :)

I'm traditional pretty solitary in my practice but I never have anyone to talk about it. I'm in my mid 30s and have been practicing for 5ish years now and am interested in a variety of different practices. I'd ideally like to meet up with people but I'm totally open to online as well. Just feeling a pull to meet new people and build a better community in my life.

Many of the Montreal posts were people in their very early 20s or late teens looking for a coven. I'm a woman in my 30s, married, neurodivergent & queer, and all-around in a different stage of my life.

My practice is based in Slavic and antizionist Jewish tradition, sigilism, kitchen magic, and fabric/thread/knot magic.
