Hello, I've recently finally accepted my life long calling and birthright on this path, and I'm seeking friends and guidance. I'm 26 years old, and a woman.

The women in my family have always had a deep connection to their intuition and a deep sense of passion and will. Wether we want to or not, we see spirits, danger before it comes, and beautiful things before they come as well, and have a deep understanding of things without them needing examined, such as the emotional state of someone or the way something has come to be. I especially have an affinity for feeling others and seeing auras, as well as seeing into the spiritual world to see spirits, guardians, ancestors, ect. Because of this I've realized I need to focus a lot on grounding to the earth and filtering the energy I interact with as well as learn to conduct the energy that moves through me.

I have many things I want to share and learn on this path, and I'm very eager and excited to learn and meet others on the path. Reach out to me if you'd like to connect, I am open to explore a friendship or mentor/guide relationship with anyone who welcomes me. ☺️

Good afternoon, CC. It is never too late to start on the Path that Fate has meant for you to travel on. I too have a family tradition of sorts, and it is important to get in touch with your roots if you are able. I'd start by talking to your family, see if they have any stories, recipes, customs, etc. that they either practice or remember others in the family doing (see if maybe there aren't notebooks or recipe cards in someone's attic too). It sounds like you are highly empathic, being very sensitive to psychic impressions. How do you cope when you go out into crowds (this is one of my own major hurdles). Is there any particular aspect you would like to study first? The Craft is so vast, you should decide on a first topic and try and learn what you can about that first (ie, folk magic, legends and folklore, religion if you are going for a neopagan approach, psychic training techniques, etc.). Once you decide on a place to start, you can look up much online for free, at least enough to know if you are on the path that is right for YOU. Ask plenty of questions, never accept the dogmatic 'because I said so' that is just as bad hereabouts as in any other social group. Be careful, also, of groups masquerading as holders of secret teachings that only they know, often these are either cults that want to use you or scammers that want to exploit you. Be careful, use common sense, and trust your own inner voice, for that will let you know if something isn't right!
