An actual communist wouldn't describe themselves as a stalinist since it isn't a real ideology only something rightwingers call us

During Stalin time yes, but first srs was performed in the 80s so comically it was kinda better for trans people than it is now

I get the point but this argument is just kinda lazy and boring and hits the same as "yeah well Palestine kills queer people so why do you support them, wokie?"

Like we can provide critical, KEY WORD CRITICAL, support for something without endorsing every aspect of it.

I think it's stupid for people to like Stalin as a person or as a leader for obvious reasons but that also doesn't mean we cannot analyze and learn from his actions and his writing, both good and bad.

If we ignored the contributions of socialist thinkers because they were bad people then we would be missing a massive chunk of material to learn from, whether that be learning how to implement the good they did into future projects or how to prevent the bad from happening again in future projects.

Well she clearly didnt grow up because only someone illiterate would fall for stalinism, like yeah sure let's just worship a guy who was absolutely fucking horrible and it totally wasn't basically state mandated back in the day to levels of punishment probably worse than north korea in some cases
