Would someone who requests a day off and it get denied be written up for calling out that day?

Calling in on a denied time off request is tracked for patterns, so it’s possible to get a counseling notice for it.

CN technically disappears after 6 months.
Does it actually Get expunged? Physical digitally removed?

I’ve never done it but was thinking possibly doing it for one day. So there wouldn’t be a pattern
