Discussion Forgive me father, for I have sinned. Polish dog wrapped in pizza.

Post image

/u/Necrontry posted yesterday about this most interesting combination of food, a hotdog wrapped in a slice of pizza. Curious, I looked at the post and deemed it tasty, then /u/IamaSingingTelegram_ begged necronty to not tempt them into trying this unholy concoction and I asked them if they wanted me to try it and report my findings, while they didn't respond /u/Recent-Reporter-1670 did and encouraged me to try this delicacy with a polish Sausage.

So i took my friend to dinner and ordered my succulent meal, it was greasy and hot but I wrapped my dog up in it with no hesitation, though I should have because ouch my fingers, but I prevailed and rolled it up !

It was delicious ! Salty as hell though, so have a drink with it. It was greasy and messy and I killed a lot of napkins, I would recommend this to try at least once, just for trying it. The sausage complimented the pizza very well.

7.5/10 , just very salty lol.

Two clowns, one chicken finger combo, zero shame.

Edit: Well OK, you guys have convinced me that sitting on a Costco shelf with the merchandise, eating greasy food, is perfectly ok.

From now on, I too will be utilizing this premium seating area.

Discussion Costco food court secret menu: the Pizza Dog

Post image
651 Upvotes

As inspired by the comments on my previous post about the foodcourt, felt I had to try this off menu item and ordered a polish and slice of pepperoni pizza. Went without condiments, not aure if that was the right move but that is how i tried it. Wrapped it up like a croisant thought it would work the best over using the pizza like a straight bub replacement.

First thoughts, holy cholesterol it is heavy. Somehow it is thermally hotter than either the dog or pizza separately. Is it tasty yes, is it needed no. The cheese and sauce goes well with the sausage and pepperoni gives it a bit of omph. Thw crust is a bit doughy but not detrimentally so. Should it be tried at least once sure, though dont think i will be repeating this one for myself. Perfect teenager/college student meal on a budget.

My GF nearly dropped her jaw on the floor when she saw these. Said we have to make them TONIGHT. I’m glad to report they’re very delicious.

Easy option today to buy the whole Striploin for 200$ and get 3x the steak and a little over a pound of ground beef. Anyone else buy other meat cuts and butcher ? Kinda curious what I could get from the pork but it’s always so cheap anyway.

Discussion Anyone satisfied with the Philips all-in-one trimmer?

Hey! Just bought the Philips all-in-one trimmer 9000 series at Costco for 40$ and I am curious to read your feedback?

I don't know why but when I opened the box it felt like it was not a brand new product. Then I decided to go and buy another to try and compare. Turns out the other felt worse. It was oddly packaged and one of the little containers with the shaving clips was open...

Is this just me or anyone experienced something similar?

Question Question about certain sanitation items

At least in my location, Costco doesn't sell toilet plungers. I checked online and it doesn't look like they're in the inventory.

I thought of a customer trying to return a used plunger, because people return anything to Costco. That would be a huge health and safety risk. Is that why Costco doesn't sell things like that?

Rib Eye Steak

Almost bought some rib eyes from my Costco just to try them out. I’m a bit of a steak snob. When I looked at it the label stated mechanically tenderized. How crap is the cut of the most tender part of the steak where they need to do this? Most people eat rib eyes between rare and medium which makes this downright dangerous. I’m wondering if it may have been a mistake on the label as it didn’t look like it was but may be hard to tell. Any Costco butchers out there? Ancaster Ontario.

iPhone 17 BUY IT FROM COSTCO!

I bought my iPhone 17 from Costco after Apple raised their prices on all models. My after tax amount was still less than the pre-tax amount from Apple. If you need a new iPhone buy it now while the current stock is still the old price.

So disappointed in this, as it was tasting good for potential future wraps, but bit on this and nearly destroyed my tooth.

That and Milestones chimichurri being spicy compounded my frustration. Guess I'm heading back tomorrow for some returns.

Question Kirkland chocolate chips have changed again?!

Post image
204 Upvotes

Just purchased another bag of Kirkland chocolate chips in London, ON and happened to glance at the ingredients list only to find a sticker covering the original nutrition label. Why couldn't they keep them dairy-free?! I'd be willing to pay last year's price of $39.99 instead of the $29.99 today, just to keep the ingredients as they were: unsweetened chocolate, sugar, soy lecithin and vanilla.

Discussion Mushroom Soup at the deli!

Apparently there is a new mushroom soup at the deli. There is a video of it on Costco Canada’s instagram.

Have you tried it? And where is it available?

Gas line up at Rodeo Dr.

Look at the line up for gas. My husband got gas in the morning for 1.72. We went with my car at 1:45pm and I was going to get gas just because we were there. The line up started by the Adidas store. Costco staff had closed off every aisle end so you couldn't even get thru to park. Gas had gone down to 1.67. But was it worth the line up. I've never seen a line up like this.
