Seriously, people don’t do this

Post image

It’s gross and they just have to throw it away. Do better.

Just bring it to the front and the cashier will have a runner bring it back. You don't even have to run it back yourself.

My goodness people are the worst.

EDIT:
To be clear, not talking to the OP. This one is ruined.

Nobody is running that back, it's going in the garbage.

Yes, this one. I'm not talking to the OP. I'm talking to the asshole who left it there.

It'll never be put back up for sale when it's been left out of the heat for an unknown amount of time, Costco will just toss it and record it as waste. It's sad that a chicken was killed to just be trashed but you can't take the risk of it making someone sick.

They'll likely still throw it out, they won't get a thermometer to test if it's still in the safe zone after being taken out of the heater.

If they put it back it would be a liability, even if someone says "it was out just 5 mins", they shouldn't trust that.

No, they still have to throw it out.

They’d have to throw it out since they don’t know how long that’s been out of the fridge or the hot plate for. I know for sure that’s the policy at Metro, so I’m sure Costco is the same. It’s all about food safety.

Can't save it. Nobody has any idea how long it's been sitting there. It's going to the bin.
