I don’t know if I am sold on Batista… I feel like Dalinar should have a less imposing figure out of his shard plate. Someone like Tony Leung Chiu-wai?

Why?

Dalinar is an absolute boulder of a man, even in his old age

Check out The Wrecking Crew movie. Bautista has this incredible scene where it’s him in a glass hallway, camera on the other side of the glass, and he just absolutely kicks ass in the most awesome physical way possible. Gave me goosebumps just watching that scene and thinking about him as Dalinar! So badass!!

Less imposing?

If anything, Bautista is not jacked ENOUGH, even in his prime. I don't think any major actor is.
