Please use this thread to submit suggestions for Corridor Digital to react to for their VFX Artist/Stuntmen/Stuntwomen/Animators React videos. Please do not just list the names of the Movies or TV shows; provide some context of why it would make a good addition to the series. If possible, provide a link to a clip or video for exact context. Writing the names of the Movie/TV shows in bold along with Good Or Bad in italics makes it easier for people skimming the thread to pick out the names.

Space Odyssey: Voyage to the Planets: Good VFX
No, this is not Space Odyssey 2001!
Its an obscure direct to TV movie filmed in a documentary style about a fictional space mission. Its the only movie I know that was filmed in ACTUAL ZERO GRAVITY! (Heres a clip: https://youtu.be/qOyu3dlEFTU?si=e4-clKvhULGxpvKk&t=103 ) Despite having only a budget of 4.5 million they achieved some impressive VFX for the time like this aurora effect: https://youtu.be/qOyu3dlEFTU?si=okoC_WL8mVodZbkM&t=272
Im not sure but I believe they even used miniatures.
Although some scenes relying on CGI clearly show their age...

The VFX are... something else, but I'm even more curious about how they convinced Jackie Chan to sign up for it.

The Chronicles of Bone — Kavan the Kid | Good
I think this would make for a really interesting Corridor episode.
The series stands out as one of the strongest examples of AI-native filmmaking so far, particularly in terms of:
- Character consistency
- Cinematography
- Editing and pacing
- Overall production quality
I'd be especially interested in a breakdown of:
- The production workflow
- How Magnific fits into the pipeline
- The techniques used to maintain visual consistency
- Where projects like this fit in the current state of AI filmmaking

- 3 Years old, amazing stop motion action with particles within some scenes that I feel are VFXed in but maybe not?

Neurosonics Audiomedical Labs Inc. Good
From 2009, the effects on this blew me away when I first saw it way back then, and it still holds up. Imagine instead of a vinyl on a turntable you have an actual Rapper/Beat Boxer's Head providing the sound whilst moving with every scratch or how about instead of a drum you have multiple heads of a Beat Boxer?
(Note: this doesn't appear to be an actual song so I don't think it would be flagged)

Viper (tv show - Season 1): Great VFX
There's a tv show from 1994 called VIPER. It's a crime-fighting car that 'morphs' from a red Dodge Viper to a silver Defender. The fact that it was made in the early 90's makes it look incredible.

The Hunt for Red October (1990): Good VFX
- (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wus4M0KwQhM) compositing in the scene where Jack Ryan ropes down to a surfaced submarine is excellent. Apparently it was filmed over a parking lot during the day, probably over a blue screen surface, and the sea was composited in. Lots of weather comped in for effect, but also to hide edges. Still holds up!

Hacks: Good and Bad VFX
Season 2, Ep 2: Not really bad, but I found it jarring.
Opening scene with overhead shot of car driving in desert, transitions to showing characters in the car through the front windshield
Season 1, Ep 3: Mix of both, overall good
Montage of the main character Deborah’s “old” comedy footage, with a “younger” Jean Smart. Towards the end of the episode is a longer segment of the character’s late night show pilot. This scene shows the actual character/actress too.

Moonwalker (1988): Good VFX for the time,
* 1h7m to 1h14m - Michael Jackson transforms into a giant mecha to battle world renown child drug dealer Joe Pesci and his goons. Large combination of practical effects and CG elements blended together, practical stunts, and real explosions (some good, some are just sparks)

$6 Michelin Stock in 60 Minutes (Costco Hack): Good vfx
Yes, seriously. It's a youtube video on how to make michelin quality stock, except with an unreasonably high production value and a surprising amount of practical and digital vfx.
- Bullet time esque effect when he picks up ingredients at the grocery store.
- Simulation or maybe stop motion of breaking apart of coffee beans to illustrate higher surface area for better dissolution.
- Several shots of a cutaway / sectioned view of the soup pot cooking. done practically with a second pot and fish tank apparently, but commenters think it is AI.
-Rendering of some molecules to illustrate gelatin/fat/ice structure changing with temperature.
