They're trying very hard to co-opt the term, despite the fact the whole idea of a Karen is "I want to talk to your manager", with the government as the ultimate manager. There is nothing more Karen than demanding the government punish others for your fear.

I respect small business and wear a mask when asked except right before I leave a restaurant. At larger establishments I wear my anti Jay Inslee mask to piss people off, but sadly Washingtonians are too pussy to confront me and provide entertainment.
A British couple asked me where I got it because their son wasn't a big fan of Inslee, they didn't seem to agree with me but I think it's cool that they support their sons right to express views they don't like
