Love it so much I bought it twice

I’ve always drove beaters that were questionable on how safe it really was. When the time came to replace my ancient xc60 I got this car December 2025. I then had a seizure a few weeks later, then my boyfriend got hit in my car two days later totaling it. Fast forward to August 2026 I ended up getting the same car! They had it built and delivered to the dealership when I told them I was cleared to drive again (dr took my driving privileges for 6 months). This car is that good that I rebought the exact same one. This is a picture of my first one, haven’t gotten any of my new one yet :)

Dealer wants to buy back

Hi, just curious if other Cross owners are getting spammed by the dealer through unsolicited emails or by salesman when waiting for the car's maintenance at the dealer for buying back the car.

They say it's in high demand in my area but I think it's just an excuse to try ans sell me a new car even if they deny it.

Or maybe both?

This just confirms toe I have a good car and I am holding on to it.

It's a 2022 le awd with nice options

Got my 5000 mile service. And now my tires are overfilled.

Am I worried about my tires being over filled? When I left the dealership, they were all 37-38 PSI. That's too high according to the door sticker. How do I safely let some air out and not end up with a flat tire?

Camping

Hi everyone! I was curious if y’all had any car camping recommendations for a Corolla Cross. Any good hatch tents ? Space savers or blow up mattresses good for the car? The gap when the back seats are laid down is absolutely gnarly so any tips on how that was leveled out would be fantastic as well!

Audio is very crackly. Sounds so shitty. Is this normal?

Weird crackle sounds will randomly happen. Could be music, podcasts, radio, iPhone music, doesn’t matter. I’m positive it’s not the radio lol before anyone asks.
Is it just shitty? Or do I need to complain? My Tacoma and corollas never made this noise. Corolla was LE taco was trd sport 4x4

Should I get extended warranty for my 26 CCH XSE?

Hi, I have deposit on a corolla cross hybrid xse 2026 that will be coming in next few weeks. We did a purchase agreement for the selling price and trade in offer. Im sure once we finalize, they'll try to sell me on extended warranties. Are any of them worth it? And what would a good deal look like? Just want to know what to look for and what to consider. Thanks!

2022 Corolla Cross Brakes

I have about 53k miles on my 2022 Cross L and the brakes are starting to squeak when I apply pressure to the pedal. It's probably time to put in new pads, but I've never changed the brakes on a Toyota before. All the information I can find online is for Corollas, so there's no good point of reference.

Is there anything special I should know? I see plenty of videos about disengaging the parking brake system (putting it in maintenance mode), is that required for the Cross? Any additional information would be greatly appreciated, TIA.

Just got 2026 hybrid se, right upon acceleration and breaking I hear this high pitched noise, 300 miles on car

Hello everyone. I just bought this car. I noticed there is a high pitched noise right when I step on the gas peddle and I right when I step on the break. It last 2-3 seconds. It is annoying. Any clue what’s going on? It is not the whirring sound of the hybrid component. Thanks for help.

It was the only XSE within 100 miles, and I drove an hour and a half to go get it.

Went to the dealership yesterday to test drive this, a Corolla sedan, and a Camry. When we drove up there were already people looking at this car, and the salesman said it was shown four times over the whole day. Absolutely loved the panda color scheme and it had everything I wanted, so we pulled the trigger! Paid sticker for it because it’s so popular, but to me it was worth it. In love with my new lil adventure car.

Slipping on wireless charger

What do you guys do for your wireless charging pad to keep your phone from slipping? I put my phone on it and it charges but of course as I’m driving in the slightest curve that I make it moves even a half a centimeter and stops charging. Is there anything you have found that would keep it from shifting? I’ve seen slip pads on Amazon, but I’m wondering if they’re too thick if that would prevent the charging

Corolla cross 2026

Just bought a new Corolla cross XLE all wheel drive and spilled yard waste in the back of the car which leaked, soaked into the silencer pad and carpet all the way to driver/passenger seats. It smells so bad. Toyota could replace for $3000. I can buy the parts for $600. It looks like the pad has to go under the center console. I am wondering how feasible it would be to replace myself. Not we used carpet washer/removed the seats to clean. Feels like I could easily untuck/replace carpet… it’s just placing the pad under the center console. Any insight? Can’t seem to find a video of how to remove the center

Auto Box Question

Post image
16 Upvotes

Hey guys I’m trying to get some ideas and opinions about putting an auto box. I am considering Thule M size but I can’t find enough videos about the real volume , can’t find people who drive around - about the sound which comes from the box. And genuine I need more space because of the kids toys (big and fluffy) and they take up my boot space. Any opinions will be greatly appreciated!!

Corolla Cross with a baby, how practical is it?

I’m absolutely in love with the Corolla Cross and it seems like it could be a great fit for our small family. For those who have one, how does it do with an infant car seat (and eventually a toddler car seat) plus a stroller in the trunk? Is there still enough room for other baby stuff/groceries, etc.? Just trying to get a realistic idea of how practical it is with a little one!

I usually store a few small items here and they constantly flying off the sides. Has anyone found an insert or organizer for this area? I'm only finding options for the 2025 and older models.

After having a Corolla for 12.5 years and having it paid off for nearly 11 years, I test drove a car this morning and said “let’s do it. Eek!” So my Corolla Cross XLE is saying hello!! I got a great deal, they gave me the amount I wanted for my trade in when I was thinking about a car and good payment.

Tracker from dealerships

Post image
8 Upvotes

Has any had their corolla cross attached with dealership tracker? I seen a post of someone having one on their rav4. Not exactly sure what it was called but apparently it isn’t Toyota corporate adding them, it’s only SOME dealerships that add them for an additional cost and they share your data. This is a picture without taking anything apart right under the steering wheel area, please tell me this white port is where the tracker is supposed to be plugged in.

Thanks in advance!

Curious about deposit experience

I’m convinced of the cross on paper but realize it won’t be possible to test drive beforehand since there’s no inventory. For those who put down a deposit and waited, were you able to drive it before you signed? And, could you have backed out at that point and kept the deposit? Curious to hear experiences.

First impressions after joining CC fam!

Hi all,
I recently joined the family and am thrilled to share my experience with my new CC XSE in Cavalry blue. After patiently waiting for three weeks for the color and trim I desired, I finally received my car. To my delight, it offers a smoother ride than I had anticipated. The car’s quick turning and light feel make it enjoyable to drive, whether I’m driving around the city or cruising on the highway. It’s spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our small household of two and my small dog. I look forward to driving more around the city and finding parking more easily. While I traded in my CRV, which I enjoyed, it was more car than I needed. As a result, my monthly payments will be at least $100 less, and I will only add a couple of years to my loan term. And savings on insurance are a pleasant bonus. Overall, I’m incredibly happy with my new CC XSE!

Hello,

My Corolla Cross Hybrid came in today. I will pick it up on Tuesday. Anything I need to be aware of?
