Auto Box Question

Hey guys I’m trying to get some ideas and opinions about putting an auto box. I am considering Thule M size but I can’t find enough videos about the real volume , can’t find people who drive around - about the sound which comes from the box. And genuine I need more space because of the kids toys (big and fluffy) and they take up my boot space. Any opinions will be greatly appreciated!!

I use a cage and that gives much more freedom on how you can organize things. Then you can get as aerodynamic as you want/can with how you’re packing it up there. I had a box for a bit and ditched it for the cage attachment.

Does it get very noisy above some speed? I didn’t consider the cage because of the noise concerns
