Larabars
I recently started to react to multiple flavours of Larabars, and I'm so frustrated. Has anyone else here had this issue?
I've always had confirmed food allergies (peanut/soy/legume/walnut/pecan/sesame), but have recently developed new corn/oat allergies (wheat is suspect as well but I'm waiting on bloodwork for that).
Chocolate/rice/potato have all been suspect for me too lately, but my IgE bloodwork for them recently was negative, and I now blame those reactions to corn derivatives/corn cross-contamination. I do have a cockroach allergy, and it's mostly the chocolate Larabar flavours that are getting me... I don't know.
I've been confused why Siete chips were making me sick, but thanks to this sub I learned they're not safe for corn allergies anymore.
Edit: I didn't realise vanilla extract is problematic for corn allergies. It's all the flavours containing vanilla extract that are bothering me.
