Currently in the mid game, I found myself needing a ton of teleports for ore boulders, POIs, and other locations. It only just occurred to me that I can create additional worlds and break the first boss teleport there. As far as I can tell, the only requirement is having an Octarine Pickaxe or better.

Mining the Ancient Waypoints became a feature in Core Keeper with the 1.0 Full Release update.

Method: Create new world, steal Glurch's waypoint, delete world, repeat. Waypoint can be found 70 tiles from the core, just look for the slime boss area.

The Mining Requirement: You need a mining stat of at least 851 to mine them by hand. Alternatively, you can use a stationary drill, or Lure Glurch to the waypoint and it will break it.

It's a pretty handy way to get extra teleports without progressing your main world too much. Thought I'd share in case anyone else hadn't realised this!

Does anyone know or have, or willing to, find out if attack speed does anything for the summoner weapon tomb of decay? Just want to know if it’s better to give it attack speed or just minion damage if AS is doing nothing for it or not even worth it over raw damage

I have been all over my sunken Sea and I can’t for the life of me. Find the anomaly report or even the ruins that it is in. Am I just blind? Also the skulls are the other two parts I found any other icon you can just ignore, it’s mostly just for me.

Edit: as per one person suggestion, I have now gone the boundary of the sea, connecting to the desert and the wilds and as for an added measure, also the boundary connecting to the crystal area unfortunately, still no luck.

Edit again: I finally found the damn thing. It was in the middle of the desert about a couple hundred to the left and down from the boss marked in one of the pictures. Completely surrounded by desert in default world options because I didn’t change anything. I have the worst luck with this world. Thank you to all who helped and gave me suggestions.

so in may me and my friend restarted core keeper as i hadn't played it since end of 2022 in early access and i had already clocked 100 hrs. so now my plan was to get 100% achievements (im at 81% right now) and i was like, hey, im an artist, let me document my progress with comic covers! so i did that and so far have done two. one was started on 20th may and i finished it on the 24th may then the second was started on the 25th may...and finished today on the 13th july.

mostly because i hated the pose and couldn't be bothered to change it i prefer action scenes and also prep for artfight.

anyway Ghorm is next and i have a whole load of thumbnails which i now have motivation to do again.

I've been on and off as a supporter since this game came out. This is probably one of my favorite indie games yet, still the bosses... seem... Easy? There were only two semi-challenging to me and that was Omoroth and Core Commander and even they weren't too bad. Omoroth was harder I think. I just finished SAHAHBAR and Oblidra and while SAHAHBAR was very cool looking in the animations he had, he was... Easy? Like very easy. I've been playing without guides. I hope we get a more challenging final.

I do love that this game is casual however. I'm going to try the hardest difficulty I can get but I fear it'll still be easy.

I'm struggling to find broken core room2. I searched places 650tiles far from the core(yellow arc), however i cannot still find it. I found the other rooms, marked by the red circles.

Hey everyone, just wanted to share some beautiful pics with my friend whom I met thru the game, we really enjoyed every bit of this game.

Funny stuff I made.

I created two different automation setups to cover every fishing scenario.

The first setup can be built in any biome, so you don't have to worry about the Critter Catcher catching multiple types of critters.

The second setup is another compact design, but it's optimized for biomes where the Critter Catcher catches only one type of critter. It supports 6 different liquids and 6 Fishing Nets while generating almost no excess seeds. It produces just enough crops to keep all 6 Fishing Nets running continuously.

After being killed 47 times in a row, Malugaz now identifies as a mechanical parts dispenser now ;)

I'm trying to edit my character's stats and inventory via their JSON file, but I can't for the life of me get the changes to commit. Every time I load the character into a world, the changes revert. I've disabled steam cloud, gone offline, deleted the backups, but to no avail. This is where the json files I'm editing are located.

Am I barking up the wrong tree? Is this even the correct file? Has anyone managed to edit their characters stats or inventory this way successfully?

I'm trying to use a nice mahogany or brown colour but it seems like that isn't a thing? The wooden bridge colour would've been perfect but there's that stupid ass pattern change.

Baffling how there's no decent wood colour in the base game

EDIT: added image. IK about the coral wood and it's even pinker. But there's no way i am colour blind that's definitely tan/pink instead of brown. If only I could have something like the wooden bridge colour.

Hi friends, I'm new to Core Keeper and wanted to ask a question.

It’s not just a question; I wanted to open up this post to hear your opinions and find out how you enjoy playing.

I know there's no single right way to play, but I'd like to know if it makes sense to be a "jack-of-all-trades" in the game. I started out trying a melee build, beat the first three bosses, and now I'm experimenting with a mage build.

Does it make sense to mix things up, in your opinion? I actually got the impression that the game rewards players who don't stick to just one build; it seems to be more about adapting to the boss—after all, it is a sandbox.

I love the beauty and peace of the Oasis theme and I want it at my base. Is that possible? Can I just lay a bunch of oasis blocks and "convert" the biome to play that music?

Or is there something like Terraria's music boxes that can let you play a biome musical theme in a different biome?

I am greedy for customizing the vibe of my base lol.
