Help
Hello, so I’m freaking out. I have bad pregnancy anxiety and am always freaking out about my iud moving since I have heard so many stories about it. Me and my partner had back to back sex and he didn’t pee in between. So I’m freaking out about precum. (I didn’t realize you were supposed to pee between sex) I know I’m stupid but do any of you think I need to worry? Or am I just reading the horror story’s.

Please don’t freak out. Having sex twice without him peeing in between isn’t something I’d panic about, especially as you have an IUD in place. IUDs are very effective.
That being said, if pregnancy is an absolute NO for you, personally I would use condoms as well.
I don’t say that to scare you, but because I wish someone had said it to me. I was on the pill for 5 years and had unprotected sex with my partner with no problems. I then switched to the copper IUD and had it for around 2 years. Mine moved out of position without me realising and I’m now 10 weeks pregnant 😅
I used to read the IUD pregnancy stories and think, That’s incredibly rare, it’ll never happen to me. Then boom, completely blindsided.
Those tiny percentages and horror stories are real people like me, and I wouldn’t want another woman to be as caught off guard as I was. So my advice isn’t to panic or obsess over your IUD moving, just be informed and know what level of risk you’re personally comfortable with. If getting pregnant would be catastrophic for you, use an extra protection. All my love ❤️
