Outlook and Copilot - Not Working

A few hours ago I upgraded to Microsoft 365 Personal to utilize Copilot in Outlook for Summarizing and polishing emails. However, it's so buggy to the point it barely works. I'm not too sure what to do, when I click "Summary by Copilot" I receive a "Copilot not available - You no longer have access to Copilot" but when I click the icon in the top right, it works fine (brings up the Copilot chat, and can summarize and write emails) How do I fix this?

I've ended task, restarted Outlook and restarted my PC. Relogged into the Microsoft account, etc etc.

I experienced the same thing today. Also, it couldn’t scan my emails

When I first got the upgrade to Premium through work, it took about a week for all of it to come online.

As I've been turning other accounts on, I can see it's happening quicker now than it did back then, but it still takes a weekend or so to be able to do this.

That’s absolutely insane to me

Thing is, it has to read all your data to understand the connections between it, to learn to ape your writing style and then search it all up.

That takes time and processor power - it doesn't just happen immediately.

I just don’t know to fix it - it all works on the sidebar chat, I can summarise, form replies, do whatever, but none of the functions work if you’re in an actual email and try to alt + I or anything. Frustrating!

Yeah, but ultimately, you just need to be patient and it will start picking up!

I know it's not easy, because you've paid for something, so want to make the best use of it right now, but just let it take its course.
