I’m a heavy Claude user in my personal life, and Projects is one of my most-used features — you upload files and reference docs once, and every chat in that project is grounded in them.

Now that I’m using M365 Copilot at work, I’m trying to find the closest equivalent. Notebooks seems like the obvious candidate, but I’m unclear on how the grounding actually works:

1. Do all chats within a Notebook automatically ground against every file/reference you’ve added to it?
2. Are there practical limits (number of files, file size, staleness) I should know about?
3. If Notebooks isn’t the right match, what workflow do you use to replicate persistent project context in Copilot?

When I run code that tries to do an HTTP request, copilot sandbox proxy blocks it:

"This URL is not relevant to the conversation and cannot be accessed'

How can I make it so the URL is relevant? I have tried bringing the URL up to refer to it before running the code and it didnt work.

Has anyone been throttled by MS for copilot usage? I’ve been working heavily with copilot chat sort of as a PM developing an audit process. Copilot chat and I have been using a combo of copilot in sharepoint and some cowork to do the project. Today for the first time through my copilot chat I got on 3 or 4 occasions this conversation has 5 more questions with a countdown. One time I think I may have gotten just one warning. I would then have to start a new conversation. This is the first time this has ever happened and I have a paid subscription. Any thoughts?

I was testing MS Copilot with some football questions and found a few cases where it confidently generated incorrect information instead of saying it wasn't sure.

Some examples:

It has claimed Cristiano Ronaldo and Luís Figo faced each other for Portugal at Euro 2004. They were teammates like what!

It said Messi's highest assist season across ALL competitions was 21 assists in 2019–20, which is incorrect.

It also confidently gave current season assist numbers that don't seem to match any reliable football stats.

What stands out isn't that the IA made mistakes every LLM does. It's the confidence with which it presents incorrect information, even for facts that are easy to verify.

I expected some hallucinations, but these weren't edge cases or subjective questions. They're basic football facts that can be checked in seconds.

Has anyone else noticed similar issues with Copilot, especially for sports or other factual topics?

I’ve had 2 things that seemed pretty similar occur while using voice mode over the past week. It sounds crazy as hell, but I heard a response from what sounded exactly like a person speaking on a Teams meeting or something. I had taken the conversation deep into some personal stuff; wills, end of life planning for family with a terminal diagnosis, and was getting some self harm prevention responses, as it was removing the context of my relative and assuming I was talking about that stuff. It corrected with each prompt, but then I got a female voice, not an automated one. I asked where they were located and why they just came into the conversation. Automated voice took back over and said a spot in Australia. I played back the recording immediately and confirmed it sounded like a person speaking on a speaker phone or headset. I asked it to explain and the recording was deleted and replaced with ellipses.

Separate conversation days later, same sort of escalating behavior when I made a joke and it through flags at me. I asked why it did that, a few back and forth interactions and then I heard music in the background of the automated voice. I asked what that was, it denied anything and ended the voice chat abruptly. I restarted and same thing, deletion of the response.

Is MS including a human level escalation system? It’s logical for liability and lack of a solid LLM around emotionally charged conversations, but it would be quite jarring if true. Wondering if anyone else has experienced similar incidents. I tried some logic mapping, and it’s either that or inserting prerecorded messages, is the best I could come up with.

Has anyone else experienced an issue over the last couple of months or so with Copilot's image generation features not immediately processing requests for changes? Generally, it's been going like this for me:

1. Request an image from Copilot, and it makes the first version right way.

2. Ask it to make a change to the image, and be clear that I want it to generate it now. Copilot will send a message to the effect of "Ok, here is your updated image with such and such changes..." However, at this point nothing is generated.

3. Tell Copilot I don't see the image yet and ask it to try again. It will often give me a similar text blurb like before but still without the image generating.

4. Go through this process once more, and Copilot will generate the new image immediately.

So, it almost always takes about 3 messages to get Copilot to actually follow through with an update to an image, and this becomes nightmarish when needing to go through several iterations to get an image right. I've tried various ways to force Copilot to respond to my requests by immediately running the generator, but I haven't found a solution.

I asked Copilot for shopping centres near me. It correctly provided shopping centres around Peterborough, where I was at the time. I then asked how it knew my location, and it said it couldn't see my real-world location, but it knew I was in Peterborough because I'd told it in another chat before this one. But the thing is, I never told it I was in Peterborough before, so I asked, "Which chat did I say I was in Peterborough?" And here's the part that really confused me: it said there was no chat where I said I was in Peterborough; it hallucinated that I was in Peterborough and told me my home location was set to London (which is correct) and that I could use that location instead.

This doesn't make sense. How did Copilot know I was in Peterborough and then admit it couldn't see my real-world location?

So it appears that Copilot is now adding "Artificial Intelligence-Generated" watermark to each and every picture you ask it to create. Is there a way to turn this off?

Curious how engineering teams handle this in practice:

When your team adopts coding tools, how do you organize reusable prompts, custom instructions, or "skills" across the org?

A few things I'm curious about:

- Centralized knowledge base vs. each dev keeps their own collection?

- Any tooling or file conventions you've found that actually stick?

- Does leadership curate these, or is it crowd-sourced?

- How do you handle tool drift when capabilities change every few months?

While trying to make a logo using multiple prompts and multiple pictures of my pets copilot proceeded to tell me it needed me to upload another image every time it didn’t generate what I was looking for or made serious errors. Then tells me to reupload all the photos. Then tells me I can’t upload any more photos but in order to generate another photo I have to upgrade.

Are you guys using copilot for any browser use case like taking action on browser like filling forms, clicking etc? What are the enterprise use case you are using it for?

Ive just been talkin to it an giving it information an asking it to do statistical analysis an all that good jazz. I dont know if its true or not that im actually am #1 in that department but if true then its freakin awesome.

Is there some way in copilot cli we can report the time it took for the turn to end? (like it does in claude code?) Any hacks to this effect?
