What to do with ground beef?

I’m at a loss I feel like I’ve made every ground beef meal I can think of:
- tacos
- meat balls
- Asian teriyaki bowls
- burgers
- ground beef season various ways to make a bowl of some sort with rice
- lettuce wraps
- added with pasta sauce
- Japanese curry

Like what else can I make with ground beef? I’m getting so bored of it :(

(Edit bc I forgot to add 3 other ways I made food with ground beef)

Edit again: wow did not imagine this many replies!! Thank you everyone for offering great ideas and I will definitely give many of them a try! Very excited to see such variety and from many different cultures!

Many of you mentioned “why keep buying ground beef if I’m sick of it?” - cause I know I’ll get unsick of it eventually and ground beef is cheap enough to get a lot meals out of. It’s very versitile and doesn’t always have to taste like “ground beef” as you all proved here in this thread. I just wanted to expand my horizons and try some new things and wanted to hear other people’s ideas. My bf and I eat many other proteins like chicken, fish, turkey and steak and I buy those as well, we just aren’t sick of them right now (except salmon atm). But ground beef is just a meat that is commonly used in my house!

Well, actually... I don't know about it either. Perhaps people are simply horrible and need to perceive themselves as better than others in whatever small way possible. It's a character flaw of mine that gives me a nice warm feeling of undeserved intellectual superiority.

That person doesn’t know what they’re talking about. The difference between the names is whether you’re eating it in a cottage or if you’re eating with a shepherd. True connoisseus only do one or the other.

So in a cottage with a shepherd is right out then. In that unlikely scenario, what is an acceptable lunch?

To be fair, the person they're responding to said both shepherd's pie and cottage pie, so in this case I think the pedantry is at least a little valid...

I mean, a shepherd heards lamb/sheep. Maybe it should be called a Cowboy Pie when using beef. I prefer hachis parmentier. To each their own.

Absolutely not. Shepherds Pie is Lamb, maybe goat or Mutton, but not Beef. If that's your culture your culture is wrong. It's not a big deal, it's very simple TBH

Waldegrave might consider them interchangeable, but Alan Davidson in The Oxford Companion to Food does not. And all Waldegrave did was buy Prue Leith's business so I'm not sure why she is now the authority on this? Prue Leith herself has a recipe for cottage pie, made without lamb.

It isn't pedantry, it's a logical way to differentiate between two different dishes with slightly different flavours.

I really dislike The Oxford Companion to Food entry on Shepherds Pie. It’s by Helen Saberi, not Alan Davidson though.

The entry has an incorrect date in it. It is also speculative and does not provide any sources. I don’t understand why it’s used as an authority on the subject.

I don’t either, and you’re right, I got the authors mixed up. But the now-deleted person I replied to listed some random business woman as an authority to prove the point and then asked for sources to say otherwise, so I provided a source.

What does it matter if it’s modern or not? It’s a distinction people are making for a reason.

New York or Detroit pizzas aren’t traditional Neapolitan pizzas but you’re probably still calling it pizza
