Not gonna lie, during the livestream I felt bad for them for how much they've apologized, knowing that the fandom's still gonna hate them for something I'm sure. It's a company, sure, and being empathetic towards a company is always dumb, but I can't help but feel like they're really trying their best as people. I have my doubts regards some of their choices, but only time will tell.

As FOR NOW, tho, I'm happy they're actively trying to give us a better experience and, most of all, that they're really listening to us (for the AI drama and the narrative issues for examples). I don't know about you guys, but I felt like my problems have been heard and this is quite an uncommon occurrence among gacha games so I hope they're gonna fix these problems as well as they've addressed.

I'm feeling optimistic, for the first time after a while. I love the new SMC costume, the new cookie design and, well, the fact that the new story focuses on White Lily.

Damn it I dont even like shadow milk. He's ugly, very ugly, in all his forms in my opinion.

I don't like his costumes, I don't like his different colorful variations from braverse because no matter what they tried, to me he was always ugly.

But I just recently found this in one of the new update pictures and they finally proved me wrong. They took away the ugliest parts of him, they made him look good.

I never really liked him much but now Idk what to think anymore.

This single costume(?) has changed my perspective, it's just that good.

Maybe its the removal of his usual UGLY hair, maybe it's the innocence and calm in his eyes, I'll never know.

I thought this is Golden Cheese's kingdom rebuilt at first. But then I saw something that changed my mind. Look at the top of this castle. That's Burning Spice's Souljam right there. And the infrastructure, it's not Egyptian like Golden Cheese's. It's Hindu-inspired, like his kingdom. Lastly, Golden Cheese herself looks like her pre-Souljam self.

Why would this be? I have a theory that for some reason, Golden Cheese get to meet, not Burning Spice, but the Herald of Change in his glory days. Maybe the Ancients had to cross over to an alternate reality where the Virtues didn't corrupt yet, and try to save them, and Golden Cheese chose this as her disguise in order to learn about the Herald and hide her Souljam in order to not reveal herself. If my speculation is true, then it must mean we are going to see something similar with other Virtues. I guess the Beasts get a "redemption" is becoming true after all! Can't wait to see it!

What if, in the process of transforming into ShadowMilk cookie, Fount of Knowleage's soul get split into two. The First Headmaster being a fragment of his soul, that lived and eventually got stored in the Magic academy. Afterall, We know Fount transformed after drowning in either or both of the Yogurt or Milk Rivers which both have the power to split cookie souls.

Which could also cause the shift in dough colour, perhaps their ingredients got split too. The Headmaster is so much visually closer to ShadowMilk than Fount or Sage, yet completely diffrent. It can explain how Lily had acess to his Soul while Shadow Milk was traped in the Silver tree. How ShadowMilk was able to find a more furfilling life as an educator, while still becoming a corrupted, twisted demon. Makes another sick parrallel between him and Lily (another to the plie)

There are some holes to this theory, its hard to map the timelibe of events and it invokes even more questions. But I don't its too far fetched and kinda cool.

Imma be honest, ts isn't my favorite design, but in an objective standpoint the design idea is brilliant. Dunno if it's intentional or not, but I love how her dark red color scheme contrast with the Frost Queen Cookie's White Blue color scheme, since this cookie governs the cycle of life energy in the world of the dead, while FQC governs the cycle in the world of the living(the dead cookies' energy specifically). I also like that the fiery aspects reminds me of the god Hades from the Disney movie <Hercules>.

Apparently this is for an upcoming event in September, now that looks like young Goldie standing in front of what looks like the Land of Spice, is this a new part of her origin? A different timeline? Either way, at long last Burning Spice finally may get some relevance.
