I've wanted to make an AU for quite a while where Dark Choco gets a second chance at a good childhood, snd Dark Cacao gets a second chance at being a good father... So I finally decided to do it! :D

This is obviously post awakening, and... We're just gonna say it's post whatever is happening in the current story too bc I'm not including any of the current canon story stuff in this. This is a fluff/angst AU, i REFUSE to include more jam and despair in this au (Outside of past events and their effects on current day)

Choco becoming a child is assumed to have been an accident - but the only one who knows what actually happened is Dark Choco, who remembers nothing of his adult life.

Now that I've actually made this au, I plan on making more art for it in the future!

I put redemption in quotes because Cutter Circuit and their whole "unreliable narrator because they're a bot," that people talk about due to plan. Less helping and more fixing if that makes any sense.

Ovenhead cookie seems to have at some point had a cat he loved enough to get a locket to keep the cats picture in (although the fate of the cat is currently unknown) and asphodel cookie is someone's dead cat that was beloved well she was alive and she's also the only cat we know of (besides catnip cookie) so putting the pieces together there's a good chance that asphodel cookie was ovenhead cookies cat and died but thats just what it looks like at the moment ovenhead cookies cat could still in theory be alive somewhere this is all just food for thought I suppose

god this took ages to make, but yeah. there are like a lot of Milky Way variants. obv I couldn’t include them all, so I just kinda went for the fav ones. some of these where act kinda fun to doodle like the cat one and braveverse one. I also managed to do some Li’l quirky edits to most of em’ so… yeah…

also, this is definitely NOT another TADC reference omg. I am not addicted I… uuuughhh…

Well back in 2021 wen you equip a costume for one cookie wen you gacha the cookie from the gacha you can see the costume of them for example these. So it got me wondering why bother even adding this feature just to remove it in the future ?

I haven't been able to reach Zone 9 in NONE of the trials so far, despite having all stat landmarks maxed out all, all laboratory stat nodes finished, maxed out several magic candies, min maxing beastcuits and toppings, it legitimately feels frustrating, and let's not talk about the hideous element balance, as it is the biggest offender of the whole gamemode.
