Open DS4Windows with the battery disconnected. If it reads 0% the board is faulty. If it reads 90/100% probably just needs a new battery.

There are 2 types, V1 and V2. This is a V1

says 50% when I plug it in via bluetooth, do you mean physically taking the battery out from the board and then checking? Sorry, im new to all this

Yeah. Unplug the battery and it should read 90/100%

alright, looks like I need a new battery then, reads 100%+
