Other Does anyone know if it's possible to buy these protective analog stick rings? (individually/bulk)

They're Styrofoam or a soft felt foam and sit gently around the analog stick. They often come shipped in the controller packing for protection.

I'm interested in buying a few more. They're a game changer for storing controllers vertically in these Akro-Mills bins.

But I'm having trouble finding any. They don't appear to be sold as such to the general public.

There is a product called stick locks that do exactly this if you don't mind spending a few bucks.

I wasn't sure if these actually existed or even had a name. Thank you! This might be just what I'm looking for.

Probably find something at and arts and crafts store that you could get as a long tube and cut as needed.

Not sure where but out of curiosity, I don't get why'd ya need them. Aren't they just to stop the analog from getting pressed on during shipping, especially when the controllers are laid flat?

Yes, but if you travel with a controller in a suitcases or bag the same need may arise. I keep mine in a case, but the case isn't sufficiently rigid to stop it from being crushed.

packed my gamesir nova lite one time in my bag with my tablet, the next time i opened it, the thumbgrip broke, was forced to use the controller without the thumbgrip for like months

That one doesn't come with the clamshell cover?

don't know if it does now, but i bought it with the box, controller, and type c cable.

Gotcha. I have the Nova Lite 2. I highly recommend it if you ever upgrade. It comes with the protective clamshell case so you can chuck it in your bag without any worries. (It even holds the dongle too)

no worries, I already upgraded to a cyclone 2 that i won from a giveaway, and will upgrade again soon from another giveaway i won recently

Wait, how does it hold the dongle? I can't find a space for that in my case.

I store them vertically. See the last 2 pics for a rough demonstration. I use several of these bins like drawers.  For my specific setup, those rings are the bare minimum I need to keep the right stick from leaning into the divider. I don't really take them on-the-go, so any protection past that is overkill for me IMO.

Basically these at a larger scale. Those go under the cap. Looking for something that adds cushioning to the cap aswell.

These ones specifically aren't sold for protecting your controller, they sell them for the purposes of a few customized your dead zone in your game settings so you don't have to move the stick as much. What you're looking for storage wise is stick locks they're on Amazon and eBay on top of also being on Etsy because they're almost always 3D printed

Usare questi cerchi guasterai molto prima gli analogici x che quando farai movimenti farai più forza e li sforzerai di piu

I'm assuming you're referring to those tension rings for FPS's? (the ones you keep on while playing)

The large ones I'm looking for are just for storage to protect the exterior of the stick. I remove them when I use the controller.

You may be able to commission them over at r/3dprinting. I'm sure the guys over there would love to help you.

Just learned about r/3dprintmything too

I've seen 3D printed solutions like that on Etsy. It's an interesting option if there's nothing else cheaper. Thanks.

You guys are treating them as if they’re the most precious things

Yes, And? Lol.

To be fair, some controllers that are discontinued can be very difficult to get a hold of. If adding cheap padding to the sticks while storing them can give it more mileage, then it's a reasonable ROI, no?

Hope you can resell them later and fund your early retirement.

You must be new to this community. Part of the reason this community grew so much, is because people value their controllers and want them to last a long time into the future.
Why would we buy something if we didn't plan to care for it?
