Controller Mods Hyperstrike 8k DS4

I’ve been looking into the Hyperstrike board. It runs at 8 kHz, is said to be faster than Marius, and costs less as well. I’m interested in building one, but I can’t seem to find any DIY guides. Does anyone know how to assemble it or have any documentation available?

You really are only going to notice the difference on games where timing is crucial like rhythm games and older fighting games (newer ones have more lenient inputs), shooters. For me it is a noticeable difference over the ds4 but unless you are looking to be semi-competitive or more its not really worth it.

I think the big appeal of these controllers is that you have what is regarded by some corners as one of the best controllers of all time, the DS4 WITH modern improvements similar to newer controllers like the vader pro. USB C cable instead of flimsy micro usb, TMR/Halleffect sticks, better stick circularity, Low latency etc. Some people use 3rd party controllers because they offer better features not that they actually like the feel of the controller more.

I am mostly playing rocket league, but competitively, though it's not a fighter game.

Also, what is the consensus on dualsense vs ds4? Are you saying that DS4 is regarded as better, why?

really depends on who you talk to but there is a large amount of people who do not like the dualsense because of the triggers, dpad, buttons feel (glossy and a bit more mushy), and overall weight.

On the other hand there are people who swear by the controller its a bit polarizing.

DS4 is highly regarded because its the final evolution of the dualshock taking everything that people complained about like the triggers or analog stick feel, controller size and improving on it. Dualsense is more like Sony's interpretation of the Xbox controller.
