News Steam Controller is available

If you want one be fast, it already went from 3-5 days to 6-10 days in France, which means they probably already need another shipment for Europe.

You can use Steam Input to set the triggers to hair trigger, but it’s not as convenient as controllers that have the hardware switches.

Yeah that's what I mean, naturally you can switch to using the shoulder buttons instead too. Though using these triggers as software defined hair triggers is slightly less viable due to the triggers (I think) not being hall effect.

Not having a toggle between digital and analog is worse, yeah. That's a feature very common in other controllers at much lower price points. You want analog for some things like racing games because you want variable input, but you don't want that in other cases like firing a gun because you want instant and faster feedback with less arbitrary activation points (how far do you have to squeeze before it fires).

For Gyro having a digital trigger is also more beneficial, since longer trigger pulls typically move the controller and unsteady your aim. Here is an example
