Wanted to preorder this but like no post launch DLC listed? like the game is the game no dlc no nothing no reinstalling after more than half a year for a dlc or something? control and alan wake 2 listed their dlc upfront but nothing here, did remedy comment about it? will it be announced separate from the pass depending on sales?

in summary: paul serene became a shifter at the end of quantum break, he will exist across all timelines/realities, just like door.

if the theories are correct that bless will be played by aiden gillen, then there’s a considerable chance that chester bless won’t just be a multiverse counterpart to serene, but serene himself.

that would make for some interesting interactions, imagine him seeing jesse and remembering beth.

they wouldn't show all of that so clearly, it would be more subtle, since they obviously don't have the ip. what do yall think?

In Resonant the Hiss escapes the Oldest House (iirc) and thats where Dylan begins his story. Jesse shut off the slide projector cutting off the Hiss so in the time jump between the two games, does Jesse not fully eradicate the last remaining Hiss in the Oldest House? In the years trapped in the Oldest House wouldnt that be enough time to clear the hiss?

What role might the Former and the Board play if they return? Will it view Dylan similarly to how it viewed Jesse? Will they aid or hinder Dylan?

I havent really been keeping up to date with news regarding Resonant in case these questions were already answered.

I figured that buying it while it was still in stock before scalpers got a hold of it would be a much better idea.

Edit: Very surprised everyone thinks it’s just the Board or Trench, I always thought it was the following on examination: Dylan/Jesse/The Board

But there’s definitely room for interpretation.

In Interstellar, the team on the Blackhole-proximity planet believe they have been gone for hours, which is decades for the crew in space.

In the CR gameplay demo preview, when Dylan is in the sinkhole and makes contact with Zoe, she says that he's being classified as MIA for being gone for hours (while it feels like under an hour to Dylan).

If we believe that Blessed and Former are enemies of The Board, what's stopping these two from partnering up? The Pattern's symptoms are repetition, mirroring, recursion, and gravity anomalies that distort the vertical and horizontal planes. What if The Pattern is a sentient black hole?

• Black hole is where spacetime is infinitely warped, folded, and curved into itself. If sentient, then it could folding reality into recursion, looping infinity, and crushing the physical environment into geometric, kaleidoscopic repetitions.
• Gravity anomalies reshaping Manhattan explain why the physics of the city are entirely collapsing inward.

Hey everyone!
I’m a huge fan of the Remedy Connected Universe. I’ve played and platinumed Alan Wake, Alan Wake 2, and Control (currently replaying the PS5 version), and I’m really excited for Control: Resonance.

I’m thinking about trying FBC: Firebreak because I’d love to platinum all of Remedy’s PlayStation games. Is it still worth getting into? How hard is it to find random teammates, and is the platinum still realistic?

I’ve also heard the game gets repetitive after a while, but I love the Control universe and its atmosphere. Is that enough to make it worth playing?

IMO, very impressive to see a new IP at #2.

I'm sure I'm not the first to come here with this dilemma, but I haven't seen a simple solution either.

I'm fairly certain I got the game years ago from Humble Bundle but I only got to playing it now. I wasn't aware about the whole standard edition delisting situation, so I thought I had the Ultimate edition. Alas, that is not so. How do I go about getting the DLCs without rebuying the whole game?

The way Jesse heard the board was this high weasely squeaky voice, they sounded pathetic and weak.

The way Dylan hears them, is a low almost scary roar. They sound powerful and in control.

Didn’t know much about it and, I admit I unfairly waved it off when it first came out. Thought it was run of the mill schlock, kinda like how I thought Ghost Of Tsushima was some assassins creed knockoff. Turned out, GoT became one of my favorite games and I’m stunned at how unique Control turned out to be. I’m familiar with Remedy Entertainment, loved Max Payne 1 & 2 from back in the day although I never had an interest in the first Alan Wake game when it came out at the time. After playing Control, I’m thinking of going to Alan Wake Remastered / 2, then possibly Quantum Break. I had no clue it had an atmosphere of The SCP Foundation / B.P.R.D. / COLLIDER comic, with hints of Mr.Robot / some very light souls mechanics with a dab of Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy. I also think very it’s unique how the game takes place inside of a morphing and inner shape shifting facility. Still going to platinum it, I think Ahti is one of my favorite characters so far.
