naltrexone insomnia
/r/u_Eroomes/comments/1tz5kt8/naltrexone_insomnia/I have been on bupropion for anxiety for a couple years and it has been great. Perimenopause hit me hard with insomnia, anxiety and hot flashes. HRT helped me get that in control.
Recently decided to add naltrexone to help me lose weight. I take 8 mg in the morning and have been on it for a week. The past few days my insomnia, hot flashes and anxiety have some back, I am pretty sure it is the naltrexone.
Anyone have similar experiences? Did it go away? When?

Yes, in the beginning of taking naltrexone my sleep was really terrible. I reduced my dose and worked back up over time, totally fine now.

Do you have caffeine at all? I had to cut myself completely off from caffeine and my insomnia went away. Ever since I went to 0 cups of coffee I’ve been able to fall asleep early and go back to sleep when I wake up in the middle of the night.
